This particular niche has gone viral and many people still don't know about it. I'm referring to those time-lapse videos of plants growing that have been trending on social media. I even found a YouTube channel that posts exactly this type of content and they've already grown to over 241,000 subscribers, which is insane. His videos basically

show a plant growing from a small seed into a fully grown plant or tree through satisfying time-lapse footage. They create both short and long videos, and upon reviewing the channel, many of their posts have attracted millions of views. They even have a short film with around 4 million views and one of their

longer videos has reached nearly 20 million. I also found another Instagram page that posts the same style of content with over 90,000 followers, and several of its videos are also going viral. So clearly there is a real audience for this niche. Now, in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how to create this style of

content using completely free AI tools. And the craziest thing is that the videos can look so realistic that it's hard to tell they were generated with AI. For example, check out this video I created in just about 20 minutes using the prompt I built specifically for this workflow. Yes, everything you just saw was created with AI. And I'm

also going to show you how to extend the workflow so you 're not limited to a clip of only 10 or 15 seconds. You can create much longer sequences, from about 20 to 30 seconds or more, depending on how long you want your final video to be. So , before we begin, don't forget to

Okay, for this particular workflow, the first thing you're going to need is a chatbot. For this video, I'm going to use ChatGPT, but you also have other options you can use, such as Deep

Seek, Gemini, or even the free version of Claude. Once you have your chatbot ready, the next thing you'll need is access to the plant growth time-lapse engine prompt that I created specifically for this flow. This prompt basically handles the entire process for you, so you don't have to manually calculate each image, animation, or scene prompt yourself.

Once you gain access to the prompt, go ahead and copy all the content. Make sure you copy it exactly the way I'm doing it here. Do not omit any section because every part of the prompt is important for the workflow to function correctly. Once you 've copied everything, return to your chatbot. Paste the full prompt into the

chat and click send. When the chatbot processes the prompt, it will automatically give you a list of video ideas that you can create in the plant growth timelapse niche. As you can see, we have different categories. We have fruit trees and fruit plants. We have flowers. And if you scroll down, you'll also find

vegetables, herbs, and other plant ideas. All you have to do is review the list and choose the one you want to create. For this example, I will choose idea number two, which is the lemon. So I'll just type two and click send. After selecting the plant, the chatbot will ask if you want to create a

short or long video. For this example, I will create a short video. So I'll select the short video option and send it back to the chatbot. Give it a few seconds to process. And once that's finished, we'll get the first important part of the workflow: our image prompt. As you can see, the chatbot has generated a

detailed image prompt for us. This is very important because this image will be the initial frame of the entire plant growth sequence . Finally, you'll notice that it tells us to generate the image first and then come back to type "next" and continue. So I'll copy the entire image prompt. Make sure to

copy everything without leaving anything out. Once you have copied the prompt, head to Google Flow. Google Flow gives you credits that you can use to generate your content, and as you can see here, I currently have credits available in my account. Once inside Flow, click on new project. Let the project load. Then deactivate agent mode because

we will be handling this workflow manually. Now open the settings. Within the settings, make sure you are using picture mode. For the aspect ratio, I'll select 9:16 because we're creating short content. If you were creating a long video, you would use 16:9. For the image model, I'll use Nano Banana 2. And for

the output, I'll select two images. That way, we'll get two different variations and we can choose the one that looks best. Now, paste the image prompt that we copied from ChatGPT into Google Flow. Once everything is set up, click submit. Image generation doesn't usually take long, so we'll wait for the results. And just like that

, our images are ready. As you can see, we have a clean flowerpot on the table with a pleasantly blurred natural background . Now, simply compare both variations and choose the one you prefer. This will be the opening frame of the entire video. Once you have generated your initial image, return to ChatGPT. Scroll to the

end of the answer and type "next" . Then click submit. The chatbot will now generate the animation prompts for the entire growth sequence. For this workflow, we will obtain three separate animation prompts. We have clip one, clip two, and then clip three, which is the final stage of plant growth. Start by copying only the

animation prompt for the first clip. Then return to Google Flow. Choose the image you generated earlier and drag it to the timeline as your initial reference. Now paste the animation prompt from the first clip. Next, open the settings and switch from image mode to video mode. Keep the aspect ratio at 9:16. For the

video model, I'm going to use Omni Flash. Set the video duration to 10 seconds and leave the output at one, since we only need one video at a time. Then click submit. Now Google Flow will animate our initial image. Give it some time to generate. And just like that , our first clip is

ready. Let's preview it. You can see how the sequence begins with the seed being placed inside the soil. Then water is sprayed on it . We get that satisfying time-lapse transition between day and night. And slowly, the seed begins to grow into a young plant. That gives us the first 10 seconds of the video. Now we're going to

make this video longer without breaking the visual continuity. Hover your cursor over the video we just generated and look for the option to save frame . Click on it. Google Flow will automatically capture the final frame of the video. That last frame becomes the starting point for our next generation. So, instead of

creating a completely new video, we continued directly from where the first one left off. Now go back to ChatGPT and copy the animation prompt from the second clip. Return to Google Flow . Take the frame we just saved and drag it to the timeline. Then paste the animation prompt from the second clip. Everything

else remains the same. Now click send again. We'll give it some time to generate the second part of the sequence and our second clip will be ready. Let's preview it.

As you can see, it continues directly from where the first clip stopped. The cycle of day and night continues, and the young plant continues to develop. More leaves are beginning to appear . The stem strengthens and the plant gradually becomes much larger. That's precisely why we use the last saved frame. It helps us maintain a

visually connected sequence from one generation to the next. Now we're going to repeat the process once more. Save the final frame of the second clip. Go back to the Flow home page and drag that frame to the timeline. Then go back to ChatGPT and copy the animation prompt from the third clip . Paste it into Google Flow and click

submit. This will generate the final stage of the plant's growth sequence . And now our final clip is ready. Let's preview it.

You can see how smoothly the sequence continues. The plant grows from that young stage until it becomes a fully grown lemon tree in the pot. The lemons appear and ripen. And towards the end, a hand reaches in, takes one of the lemons and cuts it open to reveal the inside of the fruit. And the

final result looks extremely realistic. Now that we have all three clips, let's put them all together. Go back to the Flow home page and select the first video we generated. Click on the plus icon and choose to add clips. Then select the second video and add it to the scene. Once you've done

this, repeat the same process and add the third clip. Now the three videos are connected in the correct order. Click on Done at the top, and now we have a complete sequence. Once the three clips have been combined, click download. Google Flow will export the entire video as a single file. At this point, we have already

completed the main growth sequence, but we will take one final step to polish everything and prepare it for social media. For that, I'm going to use CapCut. Open CapCut and create a new project. Click on import and bring in the video clips you generated. If you're working with separate clips, arrange them sequentially. First clip one,

second clip two, and finally clip three. Now play back the entire timeline and make sure each transition looks clean. You might notice a small frozen section at the end or beginning of some clips. If that happens, simply crop those few frames. Do the same between each section. You don't need complicated transitions. The goal

is simply to eliminate unnecessary pausing so that the plant appears to grow continuously from beginning to end . Once those sections are cut, the whole sequence should feel much smoother. Now, something I like to add is a subtle background sound. So, click import again and bring in the background audio you want to use. Drag it

below the video. Then lower the volume so that it doesn't drown out the natural ASMR sound that already comes from the video. You want the background audio to support the visuals, not compete with them. If you need the specific sound I 'm using here, you can send me a message in my Telegram community and I'll

share it with you. Now, play the entire video one more time. At this point, we have a video of approximately 30 seconds of a plant growing, from seed to fully grown lemon tree . Everything is in vertical format and ready for short-form platforms. You can use this format for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or

TikTok. And the best part is that once you understand the workflow, you 're not limited to lemons. You can repeat the exact same process with different fruits, flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Once everything looks good, click export. Give your video a name. For this example , I'll call mine lemon fruit. Then click on export. Since it's a
