Hey, do you want to see what Google and AI actually see on your website? Here's how. Open your webpage in Chrome, right-click, hit inspect, go to network, and click doc. Next, you're going to refresh the page, click the page name on the left, and go to response. This is basically the HTML your website sends
before JavaScript starts changing things. Now, do a control F and search for something important on the page, like your main heading, a service description, FAQ content, whatever. You can see here that it had no problem finding tank repair FAQ, but when I search for the actual content in the FAQ answer, it doesn't find it. This means
that JavaScript added it after the page loaded, and this is a huge problem for SEO, but it matters even more for AI crawlers because they completely ignore JavaScript rendered content. Your most important content needs to be available in the HTML, not hidden behind JavaScript or a button click. This tip was covered in the latest episode of the
White Spark Local Update podcast, where Claire Carlisle and Elizabeth Linder discuss the latest tips, tricks, and news in AI and SEO. Check it out wherever you get your podcasts.
