[Music] Welcome back everyone to part 10 of our smart enemy AI series. Uh in this part I'm going to show you how to use nav links to get the enemy to jump up and down from platforms so that they can reach places that usually they can't reach. Uh this also allows the enemy to uh
chase the player over uh obstacles like this instead of uh usually having to go the long way around. Uh now jumping is an option to them. So they'll always take that uh option if it's um the shorter path of course. So let's get started. All right. So this is uh what we currently have in terms of um enemy
uh navigation. So the enemy can follow me up things. And if I go down, oh, actually they lost sight of me. So now they're searching. So um enemy can follow me up this um this ramp. And if I go down from here, they're going to go all the way back down the ramp, right?

aimlessly. And um, obviously this is not what we want. So what we need to do is tell the enemy that there is um, a path from here to here that you can jump or there is a path down maybe from here to here that you can jump down from. So how do we tell the enemy that um there
exists such a path? Uh well to do that we're going to use something called a navl link or navl link proxy. And this uh navl link proxy you can add it from here. Uh so you can search for navl link proxy. Um you can put it in your world. Let me show you what it
