Christa Pike is. Uh she, as I've reported, she has woken up. She's off the ventilator. She is talking and there are a lot of questions about what is going to happen um next. It's really in many ways an unprecedented situation. Christa Pike of course was supposed to be executed by the state of Tennessee.

She was given two lethal doses uh of a drug that was supposed to kill her. Uh it didn't work. She ended up here at the hospital and now it seems that she is recovering. Um, in this episode I have a couple of things I'm going to get to for uh, one thing is this question which

I've seen many of you write uh, in the comments and a few people have emailed me about it is can Christa Pike sue? Will she sue the state of Tennessee when she recovers? Um, which is obviously a controversial question because she's already cost the state and she admitted to murder by the way. Obviously she's

already cost the state a lot of money all these years behind bars. Um, and now taxpayers are on the hook for her recovery here at Vanderville Medical Center. And then there's the question of will she will she sue because of what happened with her execution. So, I'm going to talk to Mark Aragos about that
