The bus, you know, you know what I mean when I say the bus, the water bus. And um just about me, the other one. How are you all? Yes, I'm coming from the This is the new house, guys. New new digs. Finally. Took a while, didn't it? I should look there. That's where the

camera is. Sorry, I'm looking at the screen. Um, just sitting in my new bloody kitchen. How do I control this? Have to be careful not to show out the window. This is the new kitchen. Let me get a drink. Get settled in. Oh, got a PayPal already. Bet you that's Philip Manning. Yes, it is. It's

it's been a year in the making, hasn't it? This is the famous kitchen that took a long time to put together. There's my self-cleaning oven back. Where is it? Back there. I still have to get the cover for the We're getting another cabinet to cover this. That's the boiler heater thing for the water. So, we're

getting another cabinet. There's still a lot of details to finish, but uh it's uh it's looking sweet. It's coming out nice. Side can 45. Everything looks great in California. Good video and good sound. Okay, good. Great. So yeah, I'm coming to you from the new place. I promised some of you to show you

finally out the window from the old place, you know, right next to where I was sitting. Show you finally the view. But I didn't get around that, guys. So much going on. [ __ ] stress from every single possible direction in my life. I swear to God. Oh, I just I'm [ __ ] burnt. Burnt out.

Completely burnt. And the film fest is on. I have to go out and meet people and smoo and go to events. And then it was my birthday and I barely [ __ ] even noticed that go by. Whatever. September is always like this for some reason. September is the month of change. That's when the year should

actually begin. I think I don't think it should be January 1st. I think it should be September 1st the September 11th which of course is the 25th anniversary. I'll talk about that a little. Um there, you know, World War II was declared on September 1st, 1939. It's a it's a September is a month of change. It's

when the world takes a shift. This has always been the way about September. Sorry if I'm looking the wrong way. I should really move that camera there. How am I going to do that? Do I have a box I can put it on? Let me figure that out in a second. Ah, DG. I do have AC on the other side.

Uh, where it matters. Like bedroom where it matters. The rest of the house is lovely, but it's completely full of bags and boxes and stuff. I have to start breaking everything out and and uh start organizing. And I haven't had two minutes to even think in the past few days. So, I'm bloody lucky I have

I'm I'm on my big table. I got my big table all set up today. Big long [ __ ] And um it's fantastic. I'm really happy with it. But um and it has a name. Look, I took I took it out to put it all together and it has a name. The table's name is Emma. Can you

believe it? Hell, the plot the plot thickens. Um, so you know, the living room is is it's great and the windows here and the view are that's the best part. You know, it's the view and it's [ __ ] stunning. I had a friend stay in the house, well, a friend of a friend

who she was an actress. She was on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival from LA via Paris and she was like, "Hey, I'm going to stay a few extra days. Do you know of anyone renting a room cuz the hotels are mad money?" I said, "Well, I have this brand new place I've just barely

finishing. If you want to just jump in there, just paint and ladders and hammers and [ __ ] all around the floor. But if you don't mind that there's a fully functioning kitchen and bathroom and heating and not that she needed the heating, but and she's like, "Oh my god, I [ __ ]

love this place. How much do you want?" Like I think she wanted to rent it from me or buy it. I'm like, "Sorry, darling. Can't help you out there." Um, time tested. I love the handles. All the best. Thanks, man. I should put on the Let me show you the lighting. Give us a sec.

How's that? It's look looks mad bright, but anyway, it's not as bright as it looks in the Can I control that on the camera? Sure, I can. There's a way to do that. Let me see. Uh, exposure down.

It's just it's very similar to the old place cuz it's, you know, a full floor like both sides of the building and all that. So, that's cool. And the rads will get me through the winter and then I'll have them replaced once I get around to it because they're kind of ugly and old, but they're fine.

They work.

I want to talk about that. I'm not a big fan of his music. It's not my kind of music, but obviously I support the guy's right to speak. It's so funny when people talk about uh politics in music, you know, like have you ever heard of Woodstock? You know, Joan Bayz and Richie Havens and

Bob Dylan. Like, the [ __ ] are you talking about? I mean, politics and music go hand in hand. If they don't, you're probably listening to garbage. You want some You want people to sing about something. Jesus, what are you going to just sing about? Love songs. Okay, in fairness, all the Beatles stuff

was just love songs, and that's that's nice. But man, don't you want to talk about something else sometimes? I know what the problem is. It's not the fact that people bring up political stuff in their music. It's the fact that certain people don't like what you have to say. So, they pretend like it's

something to do with don't mix. You know, I pay for these tickets. I don't want to hear a lecture. I I just want I want to be entertained. Pay the goddamn hits. You know, it's like you don't care. If they if he said stuff from the opposite side, you wouldn't have [ __ ] there wouldn't

have been a peep out of you. You would have been like, "What's your beer? We can see your tits from all the way over here, guys. Always been the way." Josh Smith, uh, thoughts on the new Rolex? It is interesting. It's interesting that they released a new Rolex kind of offse if you will.

It's a perpetual calendar moon phase, right? It's the 1908. Pretty sexy. I like the the um the blue dial one, the what is it? White gold or platinum or whatever. That's a beauty. Um sure. Hey, it's great to see Rolex leaning into the old vintage stuff, you know. Uh my strategies should get into fountain

pens if you're not already. I'm getting into them and I've been gifted some beautiful fountain pens by viewers and I have some really good friends in the watch community who are big writing instrument fans. So, yes, it's kind of on my radar, but I haven't I haven't really delved deep yet, but it's coming.

Patrick McCullen, not a fan before this week. A fan of what? Fountain pens. Looks like kitchen right out of architectural digest. Well, I designed it. I put it together like it's all my design. You'll notice there's no fridge, right? There is though. There's two. I just wanted more counter space. So those there two fridges.

I prefer I don't rather than have a big high fridge ominous big stupid [ __ ] thing. I got I went for two fridges there with fridge freezer. So they both open out and that way I get to have an extra mile of counter. It doesn't look very big in the screen. I can see it in the

screen. You saw it here. It's miles long. There's tons of space which I just think is great. You can get in and work and do your thing and you know there's no messing around. There's a fivepoint gas top. I love I love gas. gas is my thing. Um, I had induction and it was great for boiling water

because you boil water in 30 seconds, but I prefer working with gas. Gas is my favorite to work with.

Trying to [ __ ] with the settings here. What's this? AWB. I don't know. I don't understand what's going on there, but it doesn't matter. Yeah, I'm a gas guy. So, I have the five points, you know, the four on the outside and the big one in the middle built into the countertop. As you

can see, we had to cut things very interestingly because this is old Venice building. You know, these buildings are 500 years old. So, you can't expect perfect square spaces. You know, it's a bit like living in New York. You have to just expect unless you're in a brand new high-rise made of glass, the New York

apartment, especially in Brooklyn, Queens and so on, can be often kind of funky and strange shaped. So, this is a quite large kitchen. You can't see the rest of this table, but it's like, you know, 8 feet long. And um you know, it's funny cuz the wall the wall there that you're looking at

doesn't go isn't 90°. It's a little like this. You see? So, we had to put see that piece. Uh let me see if I can find it. There. There. We had to put an extra piece there and an extra everything's backwards there just to compensate. So, it took a lot of work just to get

everything to, you know, fit nicely without any stupid gaps or anything like that, you know. But anyway, and this this thing here is a big you open it and the panels come out. They slide out. I'll show you. It's actually kind of [ __ ] cool. It really makes because when you have a a counter

that does an L like like this, you might be losing a lot of space in the corner. So, some people have a corner, they turn a corner and they have a corner thing and then pull out. But I'll show you how it works here. It's pretty cool.

See that? There's another one down here. So that way you can put all your stuff on and then chuck it in and it makes it makes the best of the of the corner space. It's kind of cool. Here's Simon. Hi from Westgate on Cant. What are your thoughts on Ed Sheeran? Yeah, McLemore and Ed Sheeran. Let's

talk about it. Um, just to finish on the Rolex thing. Yeah, it's nice. Beautiful. Um, you know, I'm not used to seeing a Rolex release like that. None of us are all waiting for GMTs and things like that. But uh hey, it's beautiful classic piece. I like classic pieces. I have the Vashron on the uh

toel rose gold. The light's not really doing it favors right now, but

I'll fully eat right.

Um yeah, he's um Ed Sheeran. Yeah, he kind of [ __ ] up. Now listen, I was a I was in a band that was support band for a lot of bands for years. So I know this I know this stuff. I'm not this is not new for me. This stuff I know how it is with promoters.

Um when um Eddie Van Halen passed away four or five years ago, I made a video on the channel just talking about him. It was my first kind of video at a lot of views or one of the first just talking about our experience touring with those guys. Um and in the end they were like, "Oh, we

love you guys. you want we want you to keep you guys doing the doing the tour. we don't like the other there was two alternating um support bands and they were like we like you guys so you know and uh we were we're like absolutely it was Eddie and Alex Van Halen you know I

think Michael was playing his 25minute basil or something at the time so the lads are like hanging out side stage and we're just chilling with them and we're like yeah we'll we'll do it but you you know is there any way to pay us anything cuz like we're broke we got no money like it's following you

guys around in North America is crippling gas prices were high at the time was 2003 2004 I guess the war was underway with Iraq and they're like you mean to those we're not paying you we're like no we're not you're not it's the privilege of supporting Van Halen which is true it is

a privilege you you got you make a lot of fans we did but uh um they were like we'll take care of it don't worry like you guys are definitely finishing the tour so we immediately called her our manager back in New York were like oh so we're going to complete the And he's like, "You sure?" I'm like,

"Yeah, Eddie said I Eddie Van Halen himself said. Who the [ __ ] has more power in that, you know?" And he's like, "We'll see if that happens." And it didn't didn't happen cuz the management went, "What? No. [ __ ] that. We're not paying them anything, you know. So it's like the band were almost

they have power but the promoter and the management have ultimate power and it's often the case you know when we supported the who they didn't know us you know it was Barbara Skyell she was our girl with William Morris and Barbara just waved her magic wand because she was one of the most powerful women in

music and next thing we're supporting the Who. But the Who themselves, the band had no, it's not like you send the Who our music and say, "Are these guys good?" They just they find out, "Oh, there's some guys from Ireland supporting you for the next couple of days or whatever, you know, or they probably don't even hear

that. They probably they have no idea. They don't care. They fly in five minutes before they have to play and then they fly straight out. They have no idea who played before them, you know, this kind of thing. It's a promoter thing. So promoters preside over all of the exterior stuff. And so in Ed Shervin's somewhat

tepid, spineless announcement or reaction or whatever, he actually is right when he says that. It's actually not it's not my call. It's a promoter's call. However, in his position, he probably could have gotten on the phone and said, "Listen, if this dude ain't playing, I'm not playing. Like, he's supporting me. I know the

kind of guy he is. He's my friend for 13 years. You want to boot him from the from the thing, then I'm booted. Like, I'm not [ __ ] like He could have taken a stand." In other words, he had an opportunity to and he didn't. Now, there's there's one thing that needs to be said and not enough people

are saying it. The way it it all transpired with McLemore be getting dumped after he said free Palestine, you know, two nights in a row or whatever from the tour, you would think that there is a huge outcry from the public about this, about what happened. You would think that, but uh as a very good friend of

mine said many many years ago about this particular subject, squeaky wheels get the most oil. The crowd when he yelled free Palestine, the crowd yelled. I'm sure there were plenty of Jewish people in there who went, "Yeah." They loved it, too. Because the truth is Jewish people all around the world don't want to have anything to do with that

genocide or whatever. They they feel like it's smearing their name. And it is smearing their name. What you have, and I'll bet money, is a couple of little whiny, noisy people in there. There's probably like two or three people out of 80,000 who just speed dial the ADL and went we feel uncomfortable. you know that

[ __ ] And unfortunately their message, you know, if you say something anti-Muslim or anti- anything else, nobody will ever get any [ __ ] phone call, you know, but the minute you touch that thing, it's oh my god, the squeaky wheels come out and then it's like, oh Jesus Christ, get Steven Spielberg in to make a

[ __ ] movie about it and lonely violin in the background. Like it just gets [ __ ] out of control. And then of course, you know, Craft, Robert Craft, who's a big big meazile, like in a really disturbing way, you know, waved his magic wand. Um, it doesn't represent what the people want at all.

There's a huge rift right now. people, the people versus the corporations. Now, the corporations and the media tend to be somewhat zo, but the people aren't anymore. Uh, including, of course, Jewish organizations. They want nothing to do with it. So, really, what you're seeing here is not a rift between opinions of people.

You're seeing a rift between money, power, and money versus the will of the people. That's what you're really seeing here. Uh Ed Sheeran of course he lost all his other support acts and he lost his band and people on the news don't make a big deal a big enough excuse me excuse me had a weird meal

earlier. Wasn't very nice. I didn't like it very much. I'm never going back to that restaurant anyway. Um the they didn't make enough of a deal out of that. They're like, "Oh, yeah." Other support acts, including Phineas, you know, Billy Isish's brother, pretty heavyweight, backed out. And then Ed Sharon's band backed out. Now, me as a musician, that

one really hit me because I'm like, "Okay, there's one thing all the support acts backing out. He can just not have a support act. He can just continue the tour." But now he lost his band and he has a set. Like, they probably rehearsed for a year. You know, there's a full set

that's all choreographed and everything. He's going to play a couple of songs by himself with his guitar, but he's got a band that play also. He has to play a two-hour show or whatever, three-hour show, whatever he does. Now, he has to go find another band and retrain or train them from scratch.

Um, that's huge. That's [ __ ] massive. So, he's I I think he has a show in a week or something he's due to play. I don't know what he's going to do. Is he going to just play it by himself with his guitar? Doesn't he risk a lot of booing? Are people already setting up protests

now for the shows? I don't know. He's he he really slipped up there. He had the opportunity to actually come out as the man because, okay, he's not a billionaire like Robert Craft, but he's worth like half a billion or something. Ed Sheeran, believe it or not, people listen to that horseshit. I

think his music is garbage, but you know, the kids, they love it. And um you know single white females in their 40s, Chardonnay drinking women around the world love his little ditties about how much he love I'm in love with the shape of you and things like this, right? And the guy's worth like four or 500

million. So he's kind of in a position to call Robert Craft's um bluff and say, "What? you you won't let me play if I if I have that to do. All right, I'm not playing. I'm going to stay home and watch Netflix. I'm tired anyway and call his bluff because, you know, the promoter loses

money. Uh instead, it it seems he buckled pretty quickly and it's was an opportunity lost. Let's see what you guys have to say. Mike Lewis. There was an interesting interview with Roger Waters and Tooker. Yeah, I saw that. Yeah, I'm a fan of Roger. He's going down the 911 [ __ ] rabbit hole now, which I wish he

wouldn't do. Um, I'll talk about 911 in a minute, but um because I was there, you know, in New York 25 years ago. I have a bottle of wine up there from 25 years ago. I had one in a restaurant um on September 11th here, 25 year old just to think about, you know, reflect on

that day. It was pretty crazy crazy time, not just that day. And the the actress who was staying with me, who was at the the festival and all, she was also there during that time. So, it was interesting to have someone at the table who, you know, we could share the the memories.

Um, we don't [ __ ] know if there's anything. It's hard to know if there's anything speurious about that whole thing. Who knows? Some people believe it was complete inside jobs inside job. Other people believe, you know, the official story, whatever. It's hard to [ __ ] know. It doesn't really take away from how sad it is. Doesn't

take away from the loss uh of life and so on. And I was right I was living right by a firehouse there in New York at the time. So I was I was at a Irish pub that evening and there was guys coming in and they had dust all over them and they were [ __ ]

they look like zombies. like they they look like this all ghost or something, you know. They did, you know, essentially. So, it's a Yeah, that's a you don't come back from that [ __ ] you know. It was a very unusual thing to witness with your bare eyes and the fear and the confusion throughout

the city. Roger Waters now has gone a bit down that. Uh, and I wish he wouldn't because it's because he has important things to say that I think he's right on the money about and uh no pun intended and um now he's just it's going to make him look like a bit more of a conspiracy nut

whereas he's actually talking about really important thing. He's talking about a genocide and inequality in the Middle East and so on which I always support him for. So now to add this into the mixdown, it's just, you know, a lot of people who may have listened to him are going to just write him off as a

conspiracy nut now. So it's a shame, but it was a an interesting interview. And of course, he tells his whole story about going to um going over there to play and seeing the apartheid and so on. Ah, it's it's wild. But to talk about the uh let me sorry there was a uh let me see very good analysis of the

situation perspectives being in the industry certainly helps Andrew yeah because promoters they take care of it you know and I'm sure they in this case with uh Ed Sheeran and McLemore was probably like mlemore sound good and Ed Sher was probably like Yeah, you know, cuz they're friends for years. But, you know, Ed Sheeran doesn't have to deal

with, you know, it's the venues and the promoters that deal with all the extra stuff. In many cases, bands don't even get to choose how much, in most cases, they don't get to choose how much their tickets are to see them. They have no idea. the venue or the promoter involved with all the venues pays the artist a

lump sum of, you know, a few million or whatever and then the venue figures out the price of the ticket. It's rare that the actual artist gets to dictate the price of their ticket. They can if they get involved in it, but a lot of artists don't know what they're doing and don't

want to think about that and they're just told by their agent or their manager. Yeah, you know, we have it all taken care of. But they might not be aware that like people are paying 500 800 bucks to see them that night, especially in the front rows. They might not be aware of that at all.

Um, it it's with artists as big as Ed Sheeran, you're talking about a money empire where there are hundreds of people employed, you know, and it's a huge machine. I can tell you that from experience watching, especially with Van Halen, it was like Disneyland, you know, the four lads in the band were just one

tiny element of this huge machine.

I think um Ed Sheeran, yes, he did [ __ ] up, but I think he's taking a bit too much flack. I think the man to blame is Robert Craft because Robert Craft is a severe Zio, like a severe brutal Zio. it would probably give him an erection to see an Arab child starve to death, you know, is

that kind of level of racist and um absolute boner for Israel, you know, beyond belief. It's like the only place that matters to him in the world, which is is terrifying to see. Um, so I think he's the guy really to blame because he decided to stick his [ __ ] claws into that whole thing and

coersse Ed Sheeran and coersse his management and threaten them or give them an ultimatum or whatever. Meanwhile, he's clearly not a real fan of the people he loves so much because there's a very famous singer of the same tribe, if you want to put it that way, called Barbara Stryzand. And she made

the same mistake and he clearly has never heard of the Stryand effect. Now people are saying the Stryand effect should be called the Shearan effect. So the Stzend effect of course is the famous situation from many years ago when Barbara Stryzand uh who has a beautiful big house in Los Angeles on the cliffs on the seafront

complained about some aerial photographs that were taken for some geographical analysis of the erosion of the LA coastline. one of 15,000 photos that were taken that were science photos that weren't even being none of this was being publicized in magazines or anything. They were just for scientific analysis. But it came to her attention somehow

that her she's very private person that her house was somewhere in one of these pictures blurry or whatever, but it was still there. And she [ __ ] threw up a lot of sh kicked up a lot of sand about it. And all she did was to draw attention to it. She demanded it be

removed and then it made news and then everybody [ __ ] heard about it and then it became worse because everybody saw the photo. So by complaining and kicking up a fuss about it, she made the the problem 10,000 times worse than it would have been. It probably would have gone mostly unnoticed.

And therefore the coin the the phrase was coined the strand effect where if you just let something breeze on by it won't do too much damage. If you draw attention to it yourself now you have now you've made it just worse which is apparently what you want you didn't want in the first place. So by kicking up a

fuss about it you've actually manifested your own worst nightmare. That's the striing effect. So now because Robert Craft was trying to silence Mlemore. Get a guy just saying free Palestine. He wasn't going like death to the IDF or whatever like other rappers. He was just saying free Palestine. But by trying to silence him now

everybody knows who Mlemore is. Half you guys probably didn't even know who that guy was. Now it's all over the [ __ ] news. So this this idiot who owns the Patriots or something, he owns a [ __ ] football team or something and a bunch of venues is clearly so, I don't know, in love

with that occupation experiment in the Middle East that he can't see the wolf in the trees and he doesn't know when the Stizen effect might kick in. maybe just let it breeze on by and fewer people will know about Mammore. It'll go away hopefully in his opinion and on we go. It's not like the world

don't know the truth." because I was that film Naza won a lot a big award here at the Venice Film Festival and uh it's two Israeli journalists very brave who interview IDF members and so on and now they want them [ __ ] the only democracy in the Middle East wants to actually extradite or at least ex expel

uh two of their own citizens for free speech. There you go. There's your proof. Uh so, um yeah, they want to like re revoke their Israeli um citizenship because of it. Um the yeah it's you either speak up or you don't and you can be um complicit in many ways if you if you just stand by

instead of Oshi. Easier to spell. Um and his his Instagram because he's doing the all the guitar solos. It's bloody fascinating. Uh so, and he's done a lot of modern. He's not only doing the old stuff. He's he's did some stuff from um Hold Your Fire and um Permanent Waves and stuff like that's

what happened with me with the channel is, you know, lot I lost a lot of subs. the channel would be bigger than it is. Um, and I'd have more supporters and more donors and all of that had I had I kept my mouth shut, had I never spoken about my opinion about anything in the

world. Because, you know, I do a video on a watch and there's a lefty out there who likes the video and a guy on the right who likes the video and a Zio and an anti Zio and a, you know, it's all different kinds of people who enjoy the video. If you then open your mouth and

you you voice your opinion, some of those people will stay anyway and they'll be like, "I don't care what he thinks. I still enjoy his videos." But some of them will take it to heart uh very much so and then become your enemy, you know, or you know, really get pissed off um and you will ostracize certain parts

of your audience. So with these big artists, they have the same issue and they probably want to say a lot of stuff, but then they risk losing like Taylor Swift. Everybody was asking, you know, when the [ __ ] is she actually going to come out and call it a genocide or whatever, like many other singers

did, do a Lipa, people like that. And they're looking at Taylor going, "When are you going to you're the [ __ ] queen, you know? you're you're the you're worth two billion or whatever. And she [ __ ] never she said something about Trump a few years ago or something and her parents are in the room. It's

actually on film. Her parents are like, "Don't say anything because it's like half your money." You know, some people will applaud you and then you'll get then others will start burning your records. So, yeah. She never did anything with that. I I suppose she must have made a decision one night not to

uh say anything like that.

So you see with actors as well a lot of actors don't want to risk risk it as well because they don't want to get dropped by their agent or they don't want you know because a lot of Hollywood is you know and um but then you have brave courageous people like Benedict Cumberbatch and

Florence Pew and um I don't know who else a bunch of you know Javier Bardam and his wife and so on and people like this who are who aren't afraid um to speak their minds. Um I think the most inspiring thing about these young bands, these small bands that were supposed to support

Ed Sheeran, including his own actual band, was this was like a a opportunity of a lifetime for them. Javier Bardin was already worth a hundred million or whatever he's worth. He's huge actor and Penelopey Cruz's wife. So if they if an agent never calls them again for a movie, they can they're still fine. They

can just go sit on the beach and like drink my ties and go, "Okay, that was the end of that. It was a good one." Whereas for young artists, I met a lot in New York. I know some very well who never wanted to voice anything like anything like that because they didn't want to steal themselves of

rob themselves of an opportunity with some promoter or some [ __ ] power wig in a record company or whatever because they might be just like shooting themselves in the foot and what their most important thing to them was their career and their career opportunities. So you're thinking you're looking at these bands with Ed Sheeran. It's a

chance to play in front of 50,000 people every night. So monster opportunity for them and and still they withdrew which is incredible courage. Now the good thing I started following some of them loads of people now are downloading their music because now they're like who is this guy anyway? this little Irish guy with a guitar

who's supporting was support to support Ed Sheeran and you know now they're getting another a different kind of following that they had before and people are downloading their music. So, I suppose there is a silver lining to that crowd, but they still rob themselves of all these massive concerts that we're about to

play, which that's got to be a tough It's one thing if you're established, it's another thing you're trying to get going. You know, John Frasier again, maybe a watch company can sell a watch for raising money for Gaza Swatch or something. Watch companies aren't going to get it. The watch world is not um

as you may have noticed the watch world is full of very right-wingminded people full of zios and so on. It's it's luxury watches. It's for the wealthy. It's for the privileged. It's you know I'm a little strange character in this world. Honestly, I'm myself and Tim Wright probably. I don't think I can think of anyone else. We're

a little bit um unusual, unorthodox, you might say. Uh for this world, my audience is full of cigar chewing businessmen on first class flights who the last thing on their [ __ ] mind is the plight of the impoverished and so on. you know then half of them voted for Trump and so on. So it's I don't think a

watch company is uh going to be involved in anything cheeky winders. The complex problems of the Middle East will not be solved by rock stars or watch YouTubers but ultimately by the people involved. Well, no problems get solved by watch YouTubers or rock stars but especially rock stars um they have a voice. This is a you're touching off a

bigger subject. Should an actor when they're receiving their Oscar on stage take the opportunity to say free Palestine or say you know free Congo or Sudan or you know uh whatever you know make a political statement. Um some people say no stay out of it like take your ward shut up and go home.

Um, I think those people are not the kind of people I would invite to dinner at my house, in my new kitchen, my new table. Uh, because I think they're very close-minded people. Um, I think when you have a very big microphone in front of you, you have a voice, which a lot of

people don't have. And it may not be as it's not as important as a polit politician's voice or a president's voice. Certainly not. But it's still a voice and it can still sway the people. And when I was I was mentioning Rush. I I was growing up um Rush were always a very interesting

band. And I won't say they were political, but Neil Kurt's lyrics were always very sociological and um um would refer to human nature and social issues and so on. The trees I was just listening to earlier. Go back and listen to the trees. Listen to this to the lyrics of the trees. It's very political

song. And I was a kid, you know, listening to Rush in Dublin. No one else knew who Rush was. Rush is a place north of Dublin. There's a little town called Rush. People would be like, "What are you talking about?" I'm like, "No, it's abandoned Canada." They were all listening to UB40 and other stuff. Uh,

the Smiths. The Smiths was the big [ __ ] All my mates want listen to the Smiths. They they heard Russia and they were like stupid [ __ ] music. So we were the outcasts. Um surprise surprise. And um I was very very politically influenced by Neil Per and his lyrics because I was

an impressionable young teen who was obsessed with this band. Love the songs. Sit there with headphones. So obviously if the lyrics said, you know, the maples formed a union and demanded equal rights, the oaks are just too greedy, we will make them give us light. Now there's no more oak oppression for they

passed a noble law and the trees are all kept equal by hatchet ax and saw. Like that [ __ ] influenced me. I'm like, "Oh, this is great." you know, and he was a big Iron Rand fan. I'm not a big Iron R fan, but I was curious about that. It was all about individualism and

personal freedom and, you know, growing up, you two I wasn't a huge fan of. I am now. Um, but, you know, they sing about, you know, Martin Luther King and Sunday Bloody Sunday and things like that. You have a voice. You have a voice. Now will you be able to directly solve an issue?

No. But can you sway the people and and um inform the people and educate the people, enlighten the people? Yes, you certainly can. You you certainly can. So, um, when I go to a concert, if I went to a Ted Nent concert or a Kid Rock concert and he started saying America is number

one, you know, and he started doing all that stuff and Trump is the best, whatever. I wouldn't be offended by that. I mean, I don't like what he's saying, but I wouldn't be offended by him using his microphone to talk to the people because he has a very big one. There's a lot of people listening and

and what's wrong with that? And it's his right to say what he wants to say. So, I wouldn't leave the concert going, "Yeah, I like the songs, but he should shut up about politics that because I first of all, because I have a brain." Uh but also because it's his right to say and

he has a platform and most people who go through life never ever have are never in that lucky position to have such a platform to have a big microphone in front of them you know uh that can reach millions of people so on. So this idea of like oh stars and actors and rock stars should shut up about

politics and current affairs and sociological issues is for the birds. I mean I I think that's a small-minded person who says such a thing

or the oaks and the maples. Yeah, the trees are great lyrics. There's there's unrest in the forest. There's trouble with the trees. The maples want more sunlight and the oaks ignore their please. It's completely about racism and things. It's just a metaphor. It's nothing to do with trees. Rush don't think about trees at all. He just

decided to make it. It's just a proper poet. That's the real use of art right there. Ah, Lord of Le. They wrote their best stuff in the Iron Round stage. Well, yeah. I mean, their record company was called Anthem Records, right? Just like the the book. I think people got it wrong, though. I I think that Neil Pur

was a progressive. He just he believed in individual freedom and the freedom of ideas and expression. But unfortunately with iron ran because a lot of people read Atlas shrugged and were like oh great so we should be more selfish and more self-centered. I was like you're getting you're picking up on the wrong message. So I think a lot there's

a lot of Rush fans out there who think that they're neoconservatives. They they couldn't be further farther from neoonservatives. So, it was a bit of a an unfortunate crossing of wires there. Uh, but anyway, I mean, 2112 was all about that, right? It's about the kid who finds the guitar and representing some old age of a different

people who used to rule the world, blah blah blah blah blah. Your cigar is there. Thank you, Cats. Well, this happens with a cigar. That's not a failure. A big cigar can go out three or four times and you relight it. It's not the point of smoking the cigar is not to keep it light

That's what that's what was revealed. I'll always say I'm a fan of Trump because I think he uncovered he he pulled the lid off the real face of

America and also he's ripping everyone off and making billions and good for him on their on their stupidity. So you may as well but um yeah you guys are very divided. It's it's a shame, but division is, it turns out, is kind of an important thing, you know. Um, I'll never forget the movie The Village

by Mighti Shyamalan with Wacken Phoenix and Bryce Dallas. She's so beautiful in that movie. The village where they're in a little little I don't want to give anything away. I hope you've all seen the film by now. There's a secret, you know, to the village that's revealed at the end. But I thought it's a brilliant idea that

there's the people in the forest that those they don't speak of, you know, the monsters in the forest. I thought to myself, that's such if I were to create a little village of people, a small micro um community. Yes. You make a school, you make a church, you have the elders, you have

the children, you have a store, you have, you know, dances at the weekend where everybody gets together. You do all of these things that a small community does. But then there are other elements need to be put in place otherwise the community won't uh sustain itself. And one was fear. That fear is a natural um

u characteristic. And it reminds me also of the matrix when the um the agent is explaining to Morpheus that the first version of the matrix that they had built was a perfect world. But it was rejected that the humans who were always asleep, you know, connected to a computer or whatever, dreaming the matrix, they rejected it.

And he says lots of crops were lost. In other words, people they rejected because a perfect world isn't what we want. We want there to be a problem. We want we want to strive for happiness but always be afraid of you know unhappiness or fear or sadness or uh you know if if everything is just beautiful

and dandy every day we might actually uh not like it. We might find it to be unbelievable and not believe it's really happening. If you add a little bit of, you know, disappointment to someone's day or fear or rejection or whatever it might be, now you have a realistic um recipe. And in the village, I was like, that's so

true. Like that's that's exactly what you do. You the others, we need an other. You know, they're happy in their little community, but they need an other them. It's coming back to Roger Waters again. Us and them. It's like a thing, a mechanism we need. We need to feel like, well, we're the guys and they're the

they're the people we hate over there. It's it's just seems to be a natural I wish it wasn't, but and maybe it isn't. Maybe it's just maybe we need to try out a world where that doesn't exist to see if it actually works because we haven't tried it yet. We don't really have a basis of

comparison. But it seems that we rely on these mechanisms. We need to envy our neighbor, covet our neighbor. We need to fear the stranger, the foreigner. And now it all begins to work. You know, that seems to be the way it is. I'm sounding like a a right-winger right now, but uh sometimes I do.

Oh my god. Um, Lord of Black actors should shut up. They don't produce art like playwrights or songwriters. The Romans will write about actors. Yeah, but actors have a voice. That's the thing. I know they're they're a hired gun. And you're right. the director is the one with the voice and the writer is the real one with the

voice. Uh the actor himself is just a tool. He's just a vehicle. That's true. But unfortunately when the as you'll see at the Venice Film Festival, as I just saw, the director of the movie, who's usually some sort of [ __ ] genius, walks on the red carpet and people applaud and take a few photos. the actor

comes along, [ __ ] Tom Cruz or Russell Crow or whatever, and they all go nuts. Everybody goes nuts because it's the act, it's visceral, you know. So, you know, um, take any actor, Tom Cruz, whatever, you know, he's got brilliant men working behind him doing all the heavy lifting. And in fairness

to him, he does a lot of heavy lifting, too. But the crowds are going to arrive to see him and get his autograph, not to get the director's. They don't they probably would don't even know the director's face or name, you know. So, unfortunately, this is the world we live in. An actor has a voice

that we're all familiar with. This is why they hire actors to do car commercial o overdubbing and so on. Um, think of any commercial and you hear the this is why they have Sydney Sweeney selling jeans, you know, she's a [ __ ] dumbass, but everyone sees her, she's pretty and they recognize her and she goes, I have nice

jeans or whatever. This is unfortunately the the world we live in. So,

Patrick Colin, the Zas are certainly making money off the Gaza charity. This is why I don't answer. I get mails every day and messages on my Tik Tok and stuff saying, "Can you help me? I'm starving in Gaza." And I'm like, I don't know who you are. It's unlikely that some impoverished family in Gaza living in a tent

rent rubble has access to email. So, I'll tell you who does though and who is after the money. John Smith, I'd love to do that demographic study of all of us. You might be pleasantly surprised if I find out that we're more diverse than that. Interesting. Phil Campbell. Roger Waters is another musician who uses the stage to share his

views as much as anyone. Yeah. And when you go to see a Roger Waters show, you realize the marriage between music, art, and politics. They're almost exactly the same thing. In fact, it actually makes you feel like you're witnessing something important rather than just a couple of tunes you can sing along with and clap your hands.

It's actually you're witnessing something with import, you know, very much a Roger Waters, you know, you walk away from Roger Waters concert feeling uh like a new man, you know, it's a different level of artist. It's three-dimensional instead of two-dimensional. JP SWIFT or JP Swift shite talk people that agree will agree people that don't

won't okay in the end rock stars actors mean self-s serving dullers um don't know what to say to you there you stand bitter uh John Texas uh years ago Michael Jordan was asked has to speak out against Republicans. The Colin Kaepernick controversy. I remember that he was taking the knee, right? And Nike

stance in Jordan's defense staying quiet. Was that Republicans buy sneakers, too? Yeah. I mean, as I said, it's a decision, you know, with some of the watch channels, seeing as I'm a watch mostly, I suppose. Not all. Not. That was one of the mistakes that guy reached out to me the other day

was making. He's like, "You talk about watches and Venice and cigars. Why can't you just stick to that?" I'm like, "Yeah, you don't know the channel that well. What about all my World World War II documentaries? And what about all the science and movies, blah blah blah." Anyway, he was picking and choosing,

but uh he said, you know, what do you think Teddy Baltazar thinks? You have no idea. You have no idea if he's a Republican or Democrat or whether he's just not interested in current affairs or you have no idea. So, what happens in your mind is you think he's just like me. That's what

you're that's what you're doing because you like him and you might go buy a watch. So you're going to assume he's just like you. If you were to discover he ain't he's actually very different. You might not buy the watch. And therein lies the rope. Bri Pierce is the same. who [ __ ] knows what she she's not

going to make it vocal because she wants to hang on to her crowd, you know, her full crowd. And um most of the rest of them um they're just they either just don't want to get into it because they're like, "What the [ __ ] have I got to say? I have nothing

profound to say." And in that case, I respect it. Like if you kind of don't know anything and you don't really have a strong stance at all, you don't really understand what's going on and or you don't have the um wherewithal to make a profound statement or a strong statement on these things, well then you're

probably best off just [ __ ] I'll leave it I'll leave that up to the other guys, you know. Um and then others are just terrified. They're terrified of the of the backlash. um the threats, the blocking, the all of that and um and losing sponsorship and and so on, you know, takes a little courage to stick your

neck out, you know. But the people we remember in history are people who stick their neck out. I wrote a song with my band, Mr. North. see us all over YouTube uh called Torchbearer and it's about the torchbearers throughout history be they good or bad um good or bad men and women um

whether they were good or bad or not it is not what the song is about. The song is about men and women who stand up and raise the torch for others to follow. And that's a different kind of human honestly. And we throughout history tend to marvel at those people and rever those people and talk about

those people for the rest of time. You won't be talking about um you know people who are just stay on the sidelines and whatever. You you will be talking about people who took a stance. That's just the uh the reality of it because they stuck their neck out. They took a risk. I sus

actors who wants to have a musical career on the side, at no point should you be under the impression that people are buying tickets because they like your songs or they like you as an artist. They're there because you're a movie star. That's fine. And they might have fun at the gig and so on. Russell Crow's whole

thing, the whole movie was about how he was into music first. That film kind of happened almost by accident for him, you know, and that's fine, you know, but it was listen, he's having a good time and he's enjoying himself. God bless him, you know. I just was in a real bad like it's it's very it's a

hard cell for a guy like me but it's fine. Um but no I didn't get to hang out with him um at all at all but the lads I think they went to hotel who where I go all the time. My friend is one of the managers there and um looks like he was

staying there and the lads were invited. Looks like they had a good time. I was reaching out I reached out to Andy go hey you know uh you're in my town you know we have something in common. We're watch guys you know but he didn't seem to I don't know be interested there. Um, fine. Uh, maybe

I'm not his sort of thing or maybe he just doesn't know my channel that well. That's fine. Yeah, I I just saw Kiana Reeves with uh Dog Star. That's his band. He's been playing with them for years and he's on bass. He doesn't sing. I

don't even think he writes the songs. He just wants to [ __ ] play bass. He looks great, of course, you know, can't read. But um it was on Jimmy Kimmel, I think. And they played the song. Who the [ __ ] are doggar? First of all, the only reason you're on that st playing on

Jimmy Kimmel is because Kiana Re made the call. Like nobody knows Dog Star, right? unknown band. So already it's a bit uncomfortable because it's like you're not really there for the correct merit, but okay, fine. Let's let it slide. And the camera I noticed the camera work wasn't heavy on Kanu. It was the the same

amount as they would be on any bass player. And then Jimmy Kimmel comes over after, you know, they finished their song, everyone's clapping and the presenter comes over and shakes everyone's hands. Thanks very much. It was great. Dog star. Everybody give them a round of applause, you know, but he, you know, he shook the singer's hand and

Keanu's hand like there was nothing in the drummer's hand. He didn't make a thing about it being Keanu. And I thought, well, that's been they made the call there, you know, they're like, Kiana doesn't want you to treat him any differently than it, you know, he doesn't want you to make a scene about

the fact that he's in the band or whatever. It's clearly was almost an elephant in the room. It's like, aren't you going to mention that, you know, but no, clearly he wants to just be a bass player in the bad and that's fine. It's an unusual thing. Yeah, Johnny Depp wanted to be a rock star,

you know. Later on he started playing with uh didn't he do some gigs with the Stones or someone or the Grateful Dead or something? I don't know. someone. A lot of these actors, they want they want to find the music thing because actors rehearse, practice their lines, do 20 takes of a scene and 20 takes of another scene,

blah blah blah, do all this [ __ ] and then they go home and there's no fanfare, there's no applause, there's no nothing. And a year later, the movie comes out and they go to a red carpet and everyone's like, "Oh, you were so great in that movie." And they feel a disconnect.

When you're in a band, you're on a stage in front of the thousands of people, you finish the song, there's a cheer, you know, you hit that last note, the band, and the lights go dark and there's a huge cheer. You have a direct connection. You might even have everyone clap along or sing along with you. You have a it's

a very um pulpable connection whereas and that and people in theater have that too. People on on Broadway and in theater have that too. They get to bow after the, you know, everyone claps and they they see the audience watch them act and they, you know, the it's a very direct connect feeling with the people watching your

art. Whereas, if you're in film, you're in movies, you're super disconnected from that and you don't um get to enjoy that feeling. Whereas a guy like me on [ __ ] stages for 25 years, every [ __ ] night of my life, that was completely normal. Whether it was 20 people in a bar or was 20,000 people at

a big stadium, it was um still a big cheer and a big yell for the song you wrote or for the art that you made or for the playing you played or all three. And that's a immediate satisfaction, you know. And I think some of these these people who are big big stars are a

little deluded with it and they're like, "Yeah, I'm a huge famous star. I'm on the front cover of every magazine, but I don't feel like I am. I'm like sitting here at home doing nothing. Like I don't have a connection, you know?" And uh I think some of these guys, especially if they're into music, they want to find

that because they feel like they deserve it, you know? like I want to I want to get out there and play, you know, but it's it's a strange thing, you know. The problem with this is and this is very touchy subject. The problem is that an actor is acting as a role. He's in a car. He's in

character. Even when I see Johnny Depp playing his guitar, he's like he's overdoing it. I'm like, "Oh, dude. I know you love the Stones and all that, but they're like way cooler than you on the stage. You're like, you're over." It's like you saw the way they and then you you looked in the mirror and tried to pretend and

now you're like, it doesn't look natural. You know, it's always a weird thing about movie stars when they go on a stage and try and be rock stars. They never quite look that comfortable. It's it's just not their wheelhouse. They they look like they're you can see them pretending or you can see them acting or

whatever. Whereas if you really want to be a proper rockstar, you have to be a [ __ ] drunk or [ __ ] drug addict or whatever. And you have to play a million clubs with no one watching. You have to play the bar stools a 100,000 times. That builds up your character and all of

that. There's a whole of that wealth of [ __ ] that you have to go through. Russell Crow and you see him in, you know, Gladiator. He's, you know, big charisma and he's stoic and all, but on stage he's a floppy, sweaty mess. It's not, he doesn't have the same He's not the guy from

he's not Maximus Aurelius or whatever on stage. He's just not. He's not the same guy. Now, if you see it, if you're watching a band and Maximus Aurelius Charisma is singing, that guy may not be any good on a set, you know, on a Ridley Scott set. These are different skills, but strangely, these big actors

cluster the two, and I find it to be a little little naive to be honest. But listen, man, the guy's enjoying himself, you know, he's wealthy. He's a superstar and he likes to sing his songs. Nothing wrong with that, you know. Ben too self-aware. Yeah, you see it. Yeah, they're a little self-aware. Even

Keanu when you saw if you watch that clip from like a month ago, it's he's self-aware. He's not just playing the bass. He's he's playing the bass to what he thinks the camera wants to see as a guy playing the bass. You know what I mean? The the greatest performer on stage is

not aware of the audience, not aware of the camera at all. They're completely in their thing. Completely aloof. You know, like Jim Morrison with his eyes closed, you know, there's no [ __ ] clue where he is. He's just in He's singing. we watch. He's the spectacle. We get to watch the spectacle. You know, it's a it's a very

delicate thing and no one out there is an expert on it. There's no school to train you in it because how often does it happen? It's too it's too rare that a a big famous actor tries to be a rock star. That only ever happens every decade or so. So, how are who's out

there to give them any advice about it? It's like, stop acting. You know, you're you're you're still doing what you did for the camera. You can't do that. Drop it. It'd be you'd look better if you were nervous looking. Then you'd look more like a real musician, you know? It's just one of those things. It's

really hard thing to pin down. But it's there and you can see it. You can [ __ ] see it.

like trying to be, you know, it's like Yeah, when a guitarist does that stuff and he's [ __ ] and makes faces as he plays the guitar. All these are involuntary. These are things that are happening. If he showed the guitarist later on video, he'd be like, "Oh god, is that the face

of it?" Like, because he's think he's thinking he's involved in his playing. We get to witness his body uh language. Whereas the actor who wants to be the rock star, the guitarist sees it and starts impersonating it. And the eye doesn't buy it. As an audience, we don't buy it. We can see it's uh it's fake.

You know, a mega bite DJ a megabyte was my favorite thing of that whole trial. That trial was great. Ah, costic. It's like going for a karaoke night out for them. Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, listen. They can have fun. Bruce Willis was a lot of fun. He's having a lot of fun. Uh, we're going back 20 years. We went

on this tour. William Mars company were like, "Do you want to go on tour with Bruce Willis?" Like, you're going to make a lot of fans because there's all sorts of people who go to see him because they just want to see Bruce Willis in in the flesh. They don't care about, you know, he could fart on the stage. It

doesn't matter. They just want to see him. It's basically like paying in to just see your favorite movie star. The fact that he's playing music is incidental. Oh, he went out with him. It wasn't that bad. It was fine. They were fun. They were fun guys. Good bands. Nice fellas. He was He was super nervous. Uh the

first gig we did with him was in the um Irving Plaza and uh he had he wanted to wear a leather jacket, brown leather jacket on stage and he was trying to get his arm through the jacket and he couldn't get it. He was so nervous he couldn't figure out to get his arm through the jacket.

Like you'd be fine, man. I was thinking, God, this guy's like known all around the world, but he's still nervous to go out in front of 600 people because it's not his wheelhouse. He doesn't he's performed in front of a camera and a director and a DP and a couple of gaffers, you know, that's his performance

arena. It's not a live audience where it's do or die. There's no safety net, you know, if you suck, you suck. You know, different kind of skill, you know,

seven years ago in Vicenza. Played all Mr. North stuff. I went along to that and I got up and played with them. They were [ __ ] great. Um,

no. I mean, the only way I'd be get back on stage is if I was back in New York and some friends of mine who are great players doing some gig, players that I like, you know, top quality, you know, were like, "Hey, you want to come [ __ ] rock out downtown,

you know, grab a base?" Sure. you know, maybe I'd do that because I know I'm playing with good players, you know, whatever. It's not something I think about, honestly. Strangely, I don't know why. I was talking to a very interesting woman tonight, um, wife of a friend here, and she was like, um, it sounds like

you've had a lot of chapters in your life. I was like, you're pretty astute. You've called it. DGM on guitar, you do the bass, Durk does the vocals. I don't think I would play with Durk. Durk is great. He's a great rock singer, but a metal singer, but I don't think I would

I don't think we do the same sort of thing. You know, I appreciate what he does and he appreciates what I do, but I don't think that we would. Um, and I wouldn't be interested in doing anything that I didn't think was really worth doing. You know, head grandson one. Do you prefer bass or

piano? I love I love the piano. I like the bass. Like I have fun with the bass and I Yeah, it's great fun and I enjoy it. I have a deep love for piano. That's a different thing. It's almost painful like piano is, you know, my heart is bleeding. Whereas the bass is like,

"Hey, come on. Let's get drunk. Different. It's like a good friend. Whereas piano is like seeing that ex-girlfriend that you still think about. You know that that's different thing.

John Anderson, do you miss it? Always dream of it. I I miss I've said it before. I don't reminisce. I mean, I'll talk about it because I think it's kind of interesting, right? I realize that most I've done way more than most get to do. So, I consider myself very lucky in that way. We never

sold 50 million records. That's fine. But, we did a lot more than better bands than us. I know a lot of even more talented artists, better bands than us that never got that far and they deserve to. They should have, but they never did. That's just life. But um I miss the physicality of it. I said it

before. It's like if a tennis player who breaks their leg or their arm or whatever or winds up in a wheelchair or something, god forbid. They don't just miss the tennis, you know, winning and beating the other guy or whatever. They miss the smell of the court, the feel of the grip of the

tennis racket in their hand, the feel of hitting the ball. It's the physicality, the literal physicality of it. You know what I mean? I miss that. the sweat on the instrument, the hitting also when you play bass like bases of big reverber reverberations as BB Netanyahu would say when you play a big club or a big

[ __ ] venue, you hit your E string, the whole [ __ ] they can hear it miles away like in little towns like it goes it's like a fog horn off the coast or something. So, this is this enormous power under your fingers all of a sudden. People don't realize that when they're

practicing at home, they're learning how to play bass. They don't realize that if they ever get anywhere and wind up on a big stage, they're going to be frightened by their own capability because you have all these enormous rigs and speakers and next thing you just go boom and it goes people's hair goes

back, you know, and it the responsibility of that is so huge. You should never guitarists often try to play bass and sometimes they do an okay job, but they don't have um they're like wood workers trying to refit your bathroom, you know, do the plumbing. the woodworkers, you know, they know how to work with wood and cut wood and sand

it down, but they don't have the the muscle of the guy who pulls your toilet out and redo the, you know, the tiling and the plumbing of your bathroom. It's like a different beast. the bass player who understands how to control the instrument mute it hold the notes down and let them go and hold them down. Guitarists are

often quite light on the bass so it comes out very fluffy and airy whereas the actual real bass player will have a strong he'll have a much uh heavier hand uh much more control. He's like riding a horse and being able to pull that horse back and stop it from, you know, it's

like that. So, there's a lot of physicality in it. Um, and then you're sweating and you hit your instrument, you go crazy and you lose you lose your mind. You lose your mind. If you're having a good time, if you're playing a really good gig, you basically lost your [ __ ] mind. You're not part of the

real world in that moment. you're in a very which is why you can get away you can get away with wearing stupid clothes that you would never wear on the street because it looks fine on stage like well yeah you know if you wore it down the street and people like what the but uh the stage is a very

strange place to live real world so all of that physicality I miss Yeah. Hitting the instrument, you know, which is basically what you're doing. The harder you hit it, the better, you know, that I do miss. Yeah. And the lights and the sweat and the madness and the volume and, you know, it's like running a marathon

or something. That I do miss. Yeah. I think drummers suffer from that too. I know a lot of drummers who stop playing and then they come back to it eventually because they literally miss the impact in their hands as they hit the instruments, you know, never mind what song they're playing or who they're playing with.

They just want to hit they want to hit the [ __ ] you know there's a physicality to I can imagine swimmers who stop swimming like missing the smell of the water and the the feel of you know all of that

costic base calluses are much thicker. Yeah. Well, yeah. I mean, these fingers, the calluses, baby. I've burst calluses because they build up full of liquid, you know. And then I've gone and gigged on a broken callus. Try that for that'll separate the boys from the men. From the Yeah. The the mice from the the boys from the

men. Yeah. Because yeah, you go out with a [ __ ] brutal pain on the front of your and and broken skin and you gig anyway. Yeah. You pull those big piano strings. Yeah. Yeah. Well, whatever. Again, I have no regrets. I've been saying it for years. No regrets. We did [ __ ] amazing [ __ ]

It's all documented so or most of it. So nothing to complain about. And now I do interesting things in new ways.

Eaton piano and violin just hit different. Certainly very different instruments. One is strings, the other is percussion. Piano is a percussion instrument.
