I hope I'm audible to you guys. Good afternoon everyone. Today uh this is our uh live session two for the course introduction to photonics and here we are for the problem solving session as well as for the a few more discussion about the uh week 2 uh content. So let's get started on the
interference. Um I hope that you have gone through all the lectures. Let's see. Yeah, I hope you have already gone through all the lectures by professor Badis Navashan. He has already introduced all the uh preliminary to advanced topics about the interference and after that he has already also u discussed about the about the coherence
and in coherence he has divided the coherence in two parts. One is the spatial coherence and another is temporal coherence that you'll also have uh gone through. I I hope that you also have gone through through all uh content and here we are going through all one by one. So uh if you have any doubts you
can ask you can discuss about that and also we'll go each and every uh uh topics related questions in detail. So be yeah so be ready uh for that also I'll discuss with you. you have to give answers in the chat or by orally and after that we'll discuss if you have any
doubts we can solve here okay even topic related also which I'm going to discuss now so um here mostly we are uh in uh last week we have already discussed about the ray nature of light and in this week mostly we are discussing about the wave nature of Right. And wave has a characteristics
of the interference, draction and also coarance. And then uh one of the thing is that that can be used for the inter parameters. And uh as you can see here that light propagate propagates as a wave accumulating phase as it travels by precisely manipulating the phase differences between overlapping light waves. And uh we can engineer phenomena ranging
