So, today I'm going to talk about something that I see happen over and over again, and that is publishers who are not making the money that they're wanting to make, and they think the solution is to publish more books, right? I did a video about this before,

uh but I want to revisit this topic because I think it's so interesting, and I want to show you uh why uh I think that um you know, publishing more books when you're not making money is not a good decision, uh and I also want to challenge you uh to do something different instead. it. Now, the reality of the situation is, you know, nobody publishes another book because they're lazy, right? This is why people keep doing it. Uh because this is how it feels, right? Publishing another book, that's something that you can finish, right? There is a cover, a listing, a launch day, and there's progress that

you can point to by Friday, right? Like, anytime you publish a new book, you feel like you're doing something, right? Um now, marketing the ones you have, that's what I'm going to recommend that you're going to do, but it has a different feeling, right? Like, 6 weeks of posting into silence before a single

number moves, right? There's nothing to really show anyone other than the fact that you're trying to post content. So, again, like, it feels good to publish more books, and it's easy to think if I just get the right keyword, if I just get the right cover, then maybe this time it'll hold. And the reality is, sometimes that is

even the truth, right? But, I'm here to say that it is much better, in my opinion, to market the books that you already have versus posting more books. However, I can also understand why people do it because it feels like progress. But, let's look at the alternative, right? So, here we're going to talk about three
