Is Reservation Really Against Merit? The Debate India Can’t Escape I Vijender Chauhan

Is reservation against merit? Or reservation asks the system whether you took into account the initial inequalities while measuring merit. Caste caste. We want equal competition but we send the competitors to the field with unequal preparation. Then they say that now the race is fair. If I tell you that a student scoring 82 marks in an exam can be

more meritorious than a student scoring 98 marks, you might find it strange. Some people may even get angry. But first listen to the complete story of both of them. Two students are sitting in the same examination hall. Same question paper, same 3 hours, one got 98 marks and the other got 82. As soon as the results came, we announced the decision.
