Why is spirituality part of the illusion? Because spirituality can only exist if there is an "I" that says there is such a thing as spirituality. Gods and goddesses, PUAs, mantras, jantras, tantras—all these things depend on an "I." Even meditation depends on an "I" to either repeat a mantra or to focus attention. In the absolute, before

consciousness itself, there is no "I," and therefore there is no spirituality there. Or, as Marisch once told me, it's all a concept, all an illusion. In other words, Mar says, "I don't believe in spiritual paths." Why? Because a spiritual path ensnares you and keeps you trapped in the world of knowledge, the world of illusion,

while reality, in quotes, is the absolute, before consciousness, before illusion, and before spirituality and spiritual paths.
