I finally tried this matcha place here in Cape Town called Nice to Matcha and it was such a vibe. type and the matcha was super tasty. I'm actually kind of surprised that I haven't tried this place because it is really popular. But I have a very good reason why I haven't tried matcha here in Cape Town. I mean,

we've been staying here for a week and I've only had coffee while we've stayed here. And the reason for that is because the coffee here in Cape Town is absolutely phenomenal. When I wake up in the morning, I am just literally craving my coffee and we have just been going out for like iced coffees because m, you

know, I am a coffee girl. But this matcha place was just super nice. And I tried their vanilla bean and sea salt one. I had macadamia milk in it. And ooh, the combination was so tasty. I will definitely be going there again. Thankfully, it's pretty close by. So, we're staying in Seapoint and I'm really

happy that we decided to stay in this area because there are just a bunch of restaurants and cafes all over this neighborhood. You just have to go out and then there's just a lot of nice places to go have breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, you name it. But now we are actually going to go to a farmers

market and buy some fresh produce to have for the upcoming week. This is what I'm wearing today. Just a simple cute little outfit. We are going to drive to this farmers market. We have rented a car which has been pretty nice. We haven't used it as much as we thought we would because we've

been walking so much here in Seint, but it's nice to have the freedom. And also, you guys saw in the vlog before this one that we were staying in Scarra. I actually when I pronounced it in the video, I said Scarbor, but we met a good friend of my granddad who is from here

and he told me it's pronounced as like Scarra. >> Scarra. [laughter] >> [music]

>> [music] >> We've been browsing around and we've got a few goodies that I'm excited to show you guys. And we had some food and got the best iced latte we've had during our trip here. Oh my goodness. And I also saw a lot of people with iced tea. It's in this glass jar and it just looks so

refreshing. So, I feel like we need to try it out. Like, literally everyone has it. And also, we saw a few people with the strawberries covered in chocolate, so we felt like we also had to give that a try. So, we're going to try and find where we can buy it. [music]

>> [music] >> We have secured the goodies. >> What a combo. >> Oh my goodness. I'm so excited to try especially this. So, we got the pear flavor. They also have apple. >> Mhm. M. It's good. But I was expecting it to be like sweeter, but really good and really refreshing. Maybe the apple would

be better. I don't know. But it's still like really good. Okay. Strawberries. Oh, yum. The chocolate is really good. It's a perfect pickme up snack. >> Exactly.

>> I wanted to show you guys some of the things that we brought home with us. We bought organic eggs because we haven't been able to find organic eggs at the supermarket. So, that's nice. And we also bought carrots, sweet potatoes, my favorite, passion fruits. We got some lime, avocado, and just some veggies and stuff that we

can cook with for the next couple of days. We discovered this brand called Ash and Mill. Such a beautiful skin care, body care. And I found this candle made from soy wax with essential oils. I've been trying to be a bit more mindful of like the candles that I'm burning. So, I thought this would be

perfect and it smells incredible. I also picked up this raw honey and it's so beautiful here in the sun. Anyways, we are going to go for a hike this afternoon. We've been wanting to go on a hike in Cape Town because there are so many beautiful trails around the city. We want to go to Lion's Head

>> because it's supposedly very beautiful and also because we have just been looking at it every single morning from our balcony. >> We have a view of this mountain which is so cool. So, we're going to go home now, change our outfits, and go for a little road trip. I mean, it's only like 10 or

15 minute drive, which is crazy. I love the fact that you can just go for a hike, you know, when you're in the city. So cool. >> I didn't really bring proper hiking gear with me. I'm just wearing my workout clothes, but Kylie brought these really cool outdoor sea pants. And thankfully, I brought my Oakleys with me because I

think they are really cool for this hike. Mhm. >> But we are a little bit nervous to go hiking there because we read a bit about people getting robbed during this hike and a lot of people recommend to go like in in groups up this mountain. You know, we don't really have any friends here.

So, I think we're just going to go and see if we can like join a group when we like park our car. Maybe there's another couple that we can walk with. So, we're bringing some water. H, and we discovered this amazing snack. We have four bags of this because it is so tasty. And I think it's good energy

because it's dry roasted chickpeas. And this is actually addicting. Like, can somebody bring this to Copenhagen? [laughter] >> I want it.

>> You guys can see there's quite a bit of people ahead of us and also behind us because we went during like quite a popular time. So, I think it's going to be fine. [laughter and gasps] I'm out of breath. It's already quite steep and it's very hot today. So, yeah. But I'm

glad. I love this. [music]

This is Seint. This is where we are staying. And over here is the CBD, the city center. It's so cool that there's just like this big mountain in between. [music]

If you guys are feeling stressed out, you just need to hug a tree. It's going to help ground you and regulate your nervous system. quite literally. You can just feel that it really like grounds you if you like take a deep breath and just [music]

[music] almost there.

We made it to the top.

I just wanted to let you guys hear the crunch of these. >> Crunchy. Like I've tried to make these at home in the oven. Not the same. This is like insane crunch level.

Well guys, we made it home. This walk was truly or I should say hike. It was a proper hike. Honestly, it was absolutely incredible. I totally recommend doing this hike if you are in Cape Town because the views are just so so stunning. You get this panoramic view over the whole city. We stayed at the

top for I don't know an hour or something. We were just taking pictures and you know soaking in the views and it was just a beautiful sunset and then we decided to go down and I think we went down at the right time. >> Yeah. Just before it was dark because the top is definitely the most

challenging hike. >> Yeah. It's like more steep and it's also quite sandy so you you can kind of slip so you need to be very careful. But yeah, we actually ended up joining two people that were walking down. They were from Germany and I just asked them like, you know, do you want to walk together?

[snorts] Uh because it was getting quite dark. I just felt like something suspicious was going on. I'm really really glad that we ended up joining them. I encourage you guys to walk in groups like four plus people like for sure, especially if you are walking in the dark. But we are going to go grab

some pizzas. We discovered this really nice pizza place called Alfie. We've tried it once and the diavola was fantastic. It has like hot honey and just really really tasty. So, we're gonna walk over there. It takes like 2 minutes. So, we're just going to do a very easy dinner tonight.

[music] Good morning. We are on our way to go grab some breakfast at this place called Arthur's Mini Supermarket. It is a small supermarket, but it is essentially a cafe and a restaurant. They do like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We've already tried it, and it was really, really nice. But we haven't tried their

breakfast. So, we wanted to walk over there because it's pretty close by and it's such a good vibe there. You guys are going to love it. [music] [music]

>> I've been wearing blue jeans and blue shorts almost every single day. I'm a little bit obsessed because I recently thrifted these Levis's 501 pairs and they're just so classy and flattering. So, I've just been like gravitating towards them. But it's a shame because I brought quite a bit of outfits with me

and I feel like I haven't been wearing them. So, I thought we should change it up today. And I wanted to wear these white jeans. And I thought this gray striped shirt could go well with it. I'm really glad that we brought our steamer. I feel like it makes a big difference when your clothes are all wrinkled from

the suitcase. I'm going to fold up the sleeves a little bit. I think I'm going to go with this black leather one. Now, we just need to figure out what to do with my hair. I don't know if you guys noticed, but I actually went to the hairdresser. I got a haircut obviously and I also got a few

sun-kissed highlights. So, she put a little bit of like bleach around like my face. She did it like very very minimal. You don't like really notice it, but it really made a big difference. Okay, so just making sure that there are no bumps. And I'm just going to do the bun like right away.

Okay, I think it looks pretty good. And I've just been stealing Helis hair gel because it works. Just going to distribute it through my fingers. And then you just slick your hair back. I'm thinking if I should wear bigger hoops today. My style with jewelry changes so much. Sometimes I love hoops and

sometimes I hate them. Okay, this could actually be a vibe. Okay, I'm going to put a little bit of this super gel for a bit of bronziness to my face and just a little bit of concealer under my eyes. This is, by the way, the best concealer. I bought it from Sephora and

I also think this brand is more clean, so that's why I decided to buy it. And it's really good. A little bit of bronzer and some blush. And last but not least, I'm going to put on some lip liner. And this one is from Charlotte Tilbury. I actually think I'm going to wear this

bangle and my sunglasses. Going to wear these goggles. [laughter] And I'm ready. Toodles.

I really love these bags. They're so colorful [music] and fun. Perfect for like the beach. And here is like toiletry bags. [music]

>> We have been browsing around for I think 2 hours at Strangers Club. It was way better than I expected. I didn't really really know what it was because on Google maps it just seems like a cafe but it is huge. Like it is like this big house and they have you know everything

from clothes, jewelry, skin care, fragrance, home wear. Wow. >> Beautiful. Everything is so beautiful. Everything is like locally sourced. >> When we were leaving we had to buy some refreshments. So, we tried their iced latte and you guys saw one of the guys working there. He like wanted to film us because he saw me filming Helga. And

honestly, the hospitality here in South Africa is really amazing. Everybody is so friendly. So, for example, when we were buying the clothes, uh it was kind of like another cashier and the lady was just so kind and was asking us like where we're from, what our names are, and everyone is just so friendly here.

But yeah, they apparently froth the milk. >> Mhm. >> It's good. It's a bit different. >> Mhm. >> I love that they make it a little bit different here. I would love to have food here once before we leave. Feel like we have to try out their restaurant. [music] >> Yeah.

>> [music] >> We asked a lady that was working at Strangers Club if she had any good recommendations for authentic South African restaurants. She told us about this place called Fitas Home Kitchen. It closes pretty early, so we wanted to check it out and see if we could just have like an early dinner there.

we have some chicken curry and roti. Here we have baboti and some rice. Wow, it's so flavorful. M. I need to try the roti. Maybe dip it into the curry. M.

Well guys, we are back home. The dinner that we got was honestly really really good. >> I don't think it would have gotten more homey and authentic. This was literally called like home cooking. So I think it was her home. I'm pretty much sure because yeah, we went inside and there was just like couch and the kitchen and

it looked like to her home which made it even more special and the chicken curry was honestly the best curry I've ever tried. It was quite different from the curries that we've tried. H this was more kind of like a soup but had like potatoes and just the flavor was so tasty. So, we were really satisfied with

this dinner and this place. It was so cool that the lady recommended it. >> Yeah, really cool. Spot on. >> But since we didn't really show you guys what we ended up buying, we thought we'd give you a little haul. >> The only thing that I bought was this like essential oil fragrance. We haven't

been using fragrances that much like in the past year. So, I was really trying to find like a good essential oil fragrance that I like because sometimes they can be very like sweet and maybe not like the the smell or the fragrance that I like. So, this one is a bit woodsy orange.

>> M. It smells really good. Second product that we got. I was not planning on buying this until I tried the tester and wow, it's so refreshing. So, it's this face spritz and it has nyinamide and spearmint. And I even spritz it on Heli and he was like, "Okay, we should get it."

>> It was really fresh and like a good refresher. [laughter] >> Okay, well, I actually bought a few clothing items. You guys saw me try this on in the store and I'm just a sucker for a good t-shirt. I just really love this color combination. And I thought the like the letters were really cute.

It says, "From here to where the wind blows." And funny enough, this kind of paired well together. So, I was kind of convinced to buy them both. Uh, so these are just kind of these boxer shorts. Kind of something that you would steal from your boyfriend or something. >> Super cool. >> And I don't know, I thought these would

just be so cute for the summertime. And lastly, we went to this store called Concept 999 and we actually met the owners and ended up chatting with them >> for so long >> for like an hour. They were so sweet and I think their concept is like combining artists and designers together. So, I

really loved this brand called Los Cup and I ended up getting two pieces from them. So, I just really love this oversized tea with this graphic of Cape Town. It would be the perfect memory to bring home with me and also just such a vibe for the summer time. And I actually just tried on these pants to go with the

top. I wasn't really planning on buying them, but they were just so soft and comfortable. I don't know. I just really loved them. Anyways guys, I was actually just planning on filming one video in Cape Town, but I feel like this video is already getting quite long and we have quite a bit of stuff left to do before

we leave back home. So, we're thinking about filming another video because we have to go to the beach. We wanted to go horseback riding and also the other apartment that we're going to stay in is just so cool. So, I feel like I want to film in that apartment. It's a shame like not to show you guys. So, I am
