Peter was there, they sent two men to him, urging him, 'Do not delay in coming to us.' Peter arose and went with them. And when he arrived, they led him upstairs to the upper room. And all the widows stood with him, weeping, showing him the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made while she was yet with

them. But Peter, having put them all out, knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, said, 'Tabitha, arise.' And she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and lifted her up. And calling the saints and widows..." He presented the living woman, and this became known throughout Joppa, and many believed

in the Lord. Glory to God! This glory to God from you all worried me a lot now, my God! The woman was dead, and she was resurrected. The woman had been dead for about two days. Peter knelt down, prayed, and that woman was resurrected. I like this passage because it's quite well-known. The book

of Acts of the Apostles—perhaps it should be called the Act of the Holy Spirit— basically recounts what Peter and the Apostle Paul did, the miracles they performed, the miracles they lived and experienced.
