You look at your Instagram and see 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 followers, but when you make a post, there's no engagement, no clicks, nobody responds, and most importantly, no sales, right? Nobody buys anything. The problem isn't the number of followers, it's that most of them aren't qualified for your business. So, in this video, I'm going to

show you the six main practical steps to attract qualified followers, people who have a customer profile and can actually buy from you, regardless of the niche. So, stay here with me, okay? I need to say [music] that in recent years I've helped thousands of students and businesses through my Engage and Sell More on

Instagram course, Engage and Sell More, right? I've seen several student profiles with 3,000 followers earning more than a [music] brand with 300,000. in your Instagram feed today, when you access Instagram, right, what appears in the feed, more than 50% are recommended posts from profiles you don't follow. So, these are posts that were very successful, that are trending, that are generating the most engagement. So, they show off, they somehow won the race there, the [musical] competition for

attention, so they are more showy. Therefore, since previously 80% of content was shown to followers and now only 50%, organic reach has been declining. The number of followers is no longer as important for content distribution as the content itself, okay? However, we have to understand that followers can indeed be an indicator of a brand's reputation, a

personal brand, or a business. And the first batch, right, whenever you make a post, in the first instance, it will distribute to your new followers, [music] to a sample of your followers. So, yes, they still matter. They don't carry as much weight as before, but they do matter when you understand and gain followers, not

today there are many tools that can even detect the quality of the follower, whether they bought the music or not. So stay alert, okay? The second way to avoid gaining followers is to seek virality at all costs. Going viral means creating a post that will reach a lot of people, ten times more, millions of people, right? 10 times

more than your average, or millions of people. And in this frantic quest to go viral, it sometimes has to do with ego, right? You just want a huge number of views, 15 minutes of fame. But usually when that happens, when you reach millions of people, it's because you broke through that bubble [in music], it's because you

ended up reaching more people all over Brazil and then it goes out into the world, right? For many people, this is synonymous with success. Well, for whom? Well, for those who want to, say, be a global influencer and don't exactly have something to sell. Now, if you're a business, if you have a profile, a

personal brand, are an expert, or want to sell your knowledge, you have to position yourself. You have a niche, you have knowledge specifically for someone, right? And this person needs to be very clear about the profile of the person you want to reach. So, breaking out of the bubble means reaching people outside your target

audience, your potential audience. You end up jumping on some random trend, right? It's popular and all, just to try and go viral. Inevitably, more people will be interested in, for example, Strawberry Shortcake , Barbie, and such. You'll be encountering people who have absolutely nothing to do with your target audience. And then the next day, after

they started following you, the next day you're going to talk about what you have to sell, you're going to talk about what you know, right, which had nothing to do with the trend, with the meme. What's going to happen? People won't engage, they won't identify with the post, they wo n't like it, they won't comment, they

won't share it; in other words, they won't give the algorithm social signals that your content is relevant, and therefore it will stop distributing that content, understanding, among other things, that your profile is no longer relevant, because new followers are used as a barometer by Instagram to understand whether your profile is still relevant or not within the network. That's why

you have to be very careful about who you bring onto your profile. The newest followers are the most important. It's like going to a restaurant; when you're deciding on a nice one, you look at the reviews, right? Which rating is worth more? The one from 4 years ago or the one from today? Today's. So, it's the

same thing on Instagram. The newest followers, the most recent ones, they are the ones who actually determine whether your profile is still relevant or not. So, be very careful about going viral at all costs, jumping on any little trend just for the sake of engagement, because that doesn't attract qualified people. We invariably

go viral for the wrong reasons, not the right ones, okay? Another way to avoid gaining followers is by doing giveaways, where the mechanics are: follow the profile, invite five more people to follow that profile, and they're entered to win, I don't know, a Pix prize, you know? First, you gain followers, and then the day after

the giveaway, everyone unfollows your profile. So you have a bleeding of followers. This is a very bad sign for the algorithm. So you can't retain followers. It doesn't matter if you're still bleeding for weeks, months on end, right? So people don't get involved, and by not getting involved, they don't send out social signals, and

organic reach drops. [music] Congratulations, you just created a huge problem on your profile, didn't you? So, that's the deal, folks. Don't worry so much about growing your following indiscriminately, but rather about creating quality [music], right? The most important thing is not to reach everyone, but to reach the right people. So it is. And then there are people who hold raffles, right? So, it's not that giveaways are bad, but giveaways used to gain followers are bad. Instead of marketing, it could simply be digital marketing as a category, sub-niche, infoproduct launches, and you have there, or rather, in the digital marketing category, the launches niche, and the launches sub-niche for the health area. The sub-niche is the most important thing. Why? Because it's

faster and easier to gain followers when you have a clear understanding of your sub-niche, since that will already filter the type of follower you want, right? When you speak, when you create content, when you create a hook, you're already determining who that content is for. For example, if I generically say, "How to grow

clients, not competitors, right? [music] So, there are a lot of people who also attract followers, once again unqualified ones. It's not that they aren't real people, they are real people, but they're not going to buy from you. Step number two, have clarity of positioning. Note that this is different from the sub-niche. Subsidiary work

is simply a strategic choice of which area you will work in. And then you have to understand if that area has potential. Now, when we talk about clarity and positioning, it means determining your unique selling proposition, why you are the best person to talk about that subject compared to all the other people who also talk about that

subject. So, your positioning [music] will determine the type of follower you want to have. So, for that, you have to start by understanding [music] what the ideal customer profile you want is, right? What type of client do you consider a good client? Is he a better customer? Is it that client who gives you

more money, who requires less work, and who stays with you longer? What are the characteristics of this client, right? And besides understanding that, because by understanding that, you'll obviously also understand what the pains and desires of these customers are, [music] will better understand what they have in common and what they're already searching for on Google,

on YouTube, right? What are the pain points that allow you to create content, obviously based on that? Because if you can determine who the common enemy is in your position, then

I'll speak from my own experience, okay? And my common enemy is those who think they know everything. I want to train social media [music] scientists

. I want to get you to think more logically, based on data. So, my position is about marketing, okay? Based on the data, okay? To help you make better, data-driven decisions. This led me to create an enemy. Who is the enemy? The know-it-alls. It's those people who think they know everything and just go around spouting

fallacies, the latest hacks, etc., right? So, whenever I'm about to make a decision, I say, "Look, do you want to be a guesser or do you want to be a scientist?" And that's how I attract more similar people who need to think more rationally, more logically, rather than just following trends, hacks, and ready-made formulas, okay? This will

then determine what type of customer I want. Well, this gives me a clearer persona, a clearer brand persona . So, a persona is like, if my client were a fictional character, what would that client of mine be like? Or his routine, his interests, etc. And a brand persona is, if you have a brand, if you have a

business, and if it were a person, what would it be like? How would she behave? What are the values, the causes, you know, that she defends? This will help a lot. Still within step two, [music] which is about positioning, your bio then needs to have a clear understanding of why I should follow you. This clarity has to

be a promise. So, the promise has to be clear. And what do I get out of following your profile? In my case, it's written right there; you'll understand that marketing is data-driven, and you'll make more informed decisions. So you have a very clear reason to follow . If you don't have that written in your

The hook, which should be applied to this type of discovery content, is a hook that will be in the first six seconds of your search: "What are you doing on Google, what are you doing on YouTube, what are you already doing on

TikTok?" There's a tool called alsoeskasked.com, it's right here on the screen for you to see. This tool lets you input keywords related to your niche, pain points, or desires, and it will show you all the questions people are already asking on Google. This will give you an endless source of discovery content to create

using the Reale format. Why is the actual format so important for this stage? [music] Because the res format algorithm was designed to deliver your content to your followers, that sample of your 100 followers. And especially for those who don't follow you, because it was designed to help you grow your profile, right? So that

you appear to new people on those Instagram recommendation platforms. So, the first recommendation surface on Instagram is the feed. As I told you, when you open Instagram, 50% of the content that appears is recommended content. So you can show up there with real money, then there's the real money tab, then there's the explore tab, and

people also share a lot of real money through inbox. Over 4 billion views occur daily via inbox messages in Brazilian Real (BRL). So, reals is the format that has the best chance of reaching non-followers. That's why this is the format you should try to create, even within 30 to 60 seconds. Why? Because at the beginning of a

journey, those who don't know you won't spend as much time [music] and energy watching something long of yours. So you have to have the ability to synthesize information. Ah, Kiss, but it's very difficult to convey valuable content in a short amount of time. You don't need to share everything, right? It can certainly be

used as a teaser, as a sample, but of course it has intrinsic value, right? People need an incentive to visit your profile and want to continue that journey, okay? Getting involved in trending topics also works. So, let's say you're, say , a dermatologist, and suddenly there's a controversy happening in the market that, say, a

certain medication, finasteride, causes problem X, Y, etc. Well, if it's trending, if it's controversial [music] and it's in your market, it's worth using that as the opening hook in the video, right? that you bring your truth, your experience, your opinion, and not simply talk about the news, okay? Like a React, no. You really need to bring something more intentional to the table so people understand that you are an authority on the subject. This generates visits to your profile. This generates a higher conversion rate between visits and followers on the

profile. So, these are the main tips and principles for you in creating content. [Music] Fourth step, social SEO. What is SEO? Search engine optimization, which is how you optimize your posts to appear in Google search results , chat apt, and Instagram's own search results, okay? Which means you 'll be paying close attention to the subtitles. The

caption of your [music] content matters. Many people believe that short captions generate more engagement, but it 's not just about human interaction, right? It's about you talking to the robots, indexing your content at the moment people are searching, and they're searching all the time. Even Google radically changed its search engine there, to index content from

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and so on. And what are they indexing? The caption. Therefore, creating more complete captions increases your chances of appearing in search results. The tip is, the first line of that caption has to be the question the person is asking on Google, the question the person is asking in the chat, and

the second part of your caption, the second paragraph, should be the answer to that question, and that way [music] you have a much better chance of appearing as a result in those search engines. And within this whole social SEO thing, it's also worth having a CTA, a call to action, a prompt for people to follow you to get more

content like this, to get more tips like this, and so on, okay ? Can this CTA also be done in the video? He can. Many people end a video by saying, "Oh, follow me for more content like this." However, you have to understand that when you create a CT video, your video will

be longer, and with a longer video, retention may be lower. This could affect the range. So, run some tests, okay? Create an edit with a call to action at the end, create an edit without the call to action at the end, and then you can start comparing what works best or not, what

brings in more followers or not. Sometimes it brings in more followers, but the organic reach was slightly lower. Okay, maybe one thing will compensate for the other. Legal. I'm getting less distribution because the video is longer, but it's bringing me more followers for discovery content. It may then fulfill its objective for Instagram growth. Step number

five, use social media as social environments. This means you're doing your networking within Instagram itself. It means following people, following influencers in your niche, following clients, and following potential clients. Oh, so you're going to take daily breaks. I take three 30-minute breaks a day to interact with the audience, to interact with people, especially those who

comment on my own posts. Why? Because if I comment, if I'm the first person to comment on a post by an influencer in my market, a lot of people will see that first comment on their post. So I ride the wave of content reach from various people through the first comment, which leads

many people to discover that I exist. And if I make a comment [about music] in a relevant context, offering insight, asking questions, it makes people visit my profile. So the way you comment is strategic to draw attention and get people to visit your profile. And with music, you can somehow ride the wave and

So, in my case, I interacted a lot with various people who had podcasts, and that can attract their attention, leading them to invite you to their podcasts. And then you'll also gain a bit more visibility outside of social media. You can

create clips [of music] later, post them as stories, post them as res, and those people will also post them and endorse you. So you build your audience base from this networking [music]. It makes sense? This also means collaborating with certain players in the market, influencers, or experts in your field. Doing collaborations, creating content together, doing

a live stream together, but not just based on follower count. Sometimes many people decide to become collaborators, but it has nothing to do with it. candidates for you to invest money in using the boost button. But there's a point to that, right? You can put it on all posts, but you [music] can choose to also put money and press the finish button on those best posts based on your history. If you put it in every post, even if you set

a baseline, like, "I'll always put R$20, R$50 in each post," [music] has one post that did better organically than the other. So, in this post here, instead of putting 50, you put 70. And in that other post that wasn't so good, you reduce the investment a little. So it's also a way for you to

give a little more boost, you know, to what performs best, what attracts more followers. So when you click on Insights, you can see right there in the post's insights section the
