SOLO Offshore Trip For A Quick Limit Of This ONE Fish! Catch, Clean & Cook

All right, well welcome back to the channel, y'all. Captain Carl here. This is your first time tuning in, my name is Brandon. I fish here on the Alabama Gulf Coast for a variety of different species. My previous video, I was out catching uh sheepshead. Today, we're going to target triggerfish. There's uh actually a one per person limit on

triggerfish. I believe they're only open for like 2 months this year. Haven't put one on the boat this year yet, so that's what we're going to try for. We're going to run about 15 mi or so, get about 60 to 80 ft of water. See if we can get one of those. I am solo on the boat today on

the Blackjack Coastal, so we will only be able to legally keep one fish, but there's a few other species out there we can target. And I do have my underwater camera. I'm going to try and drop it down and get some pretty cool footage. But before we do jump in this video, I

want to mention something very important that I think a lot of us fishermen, guides, and pretty much everyone who fishes on the water or is just boating on the water in general overlooks a lot of times. Uh a few weeks ago, someone I knew personally and who knew a lot of guides around this area uh got into an

accident and unfortunately did not make it. Uh he was solo on the boat and uh hit a beacon or something like that at night. We think he got ejected out of the boat. Um he wasn't wearing his life life uh life jacket and he also was not wearing his kill switch. Uh I'm guilty

of it. We're all guilty of not wearing the proper safety stuff that we should out here at all times, 24/7. Uh I'm going to challenge myself to do to be better at that at least especially while I'm solo out here on the boat. Uh but yeah, just this right here, y'all. Just this little simple lanyard. Strap that
