Boktor preview play and impressions

be fair, it's not really a PAX game. It's just one that I brought to PAX cuz I'd gotten the prototype the day before. And this is a one to six player quick playing dungeon crawl game. I think something like Tiny Epic Dungeons. You're going to be moving around these tiles, exploring new tiles, and building

out the dungeon. You're going up against one of four different bosses, at least in the prototype they sent. Uh you'll be battling with a d20 die. Your characters have unique decks that they'll be leveling up with. Uh, the boss has a unique deck that will activate enemies each turn and you are trying to level up

enough and reach the tile of the boss to actually spawn them and then defeat them to win the game. And it's a pretty quick play, pretty straightforward mechanics. I do have some issues with the game and some things that I hope that they will improve for the final version, but I still like it quite a lot. Uh, so let's

just jump in. It's a pretty easy game and I'll explain things as we go. [snorts] And by the way, I am playing the second simplest boss, which uh first of all makes the game easier, but also makes it a lot faster to play because I didn't want this to be a super long
