Daniel 2:19-49 Bible Study - Learning to Live With Wisdom, Humility, and Boldness

[Music] foreign [Music] it's a pleasure to be with you again my name is Jason Dexter and today we are continuing our study of the Book of Daniel we are in Daniel chapter 2. in the last video you can check it out we studied Daniel verses 1 through 18 about Nebuchadnezzar's dream and in this video

we will continue looking at the second half of Daniel chapter 2. we'll look at a couple of very important things number one what is the importance of prayer number two how is a Believer supposed to respond to success in number three one of the key themes in the Book of Daniel how does God's kingdom compare and

contrast with the kingdom in this world we will look at what Nebuchadnezzar's dream actually was and then what that means for us even today almost 2500 years later so we're in Daniel 2 verses 19 through the end of the chapter I'll read this passage in pieces as we discuss them one section at a time and

the first section is Daniel as he Praises God for revealing the dream in its interpretation to him so let's read Daniel 2 19-23 then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night in other words God answered Daniel's prayer that he had been praying then Daniel blessed the god of heaven

and Daniel answered and said blessed be the name of God forever and ever to whom belong wisdom and might he changes times and Seasons he removes Kings and sets up Kings he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding he reveals deep and hidden things he knows what is in the darkness

and the light dwells with him To You O God of my fathers I give thanks and praise for you have given me wisdom and might and have now made known to me what we asked of you for you have made known to us the Kings matter so in the last passes we saw we were
