[Music] The doctrine of the Trinity is one of the most important pillars of the Christian faith concerning the nature of God. We discussed how this doctrine is unique because it describes God as perfect, infinite, all-encompassing, singular, and indivisible. This is the only scientific meaning, the only explanation for creation in its unity and diversity. It is the perfection to which creation

added nothing. This relationship and love existed in Himself before creation. Now a question arises: Why not four? Why not five? Why not six? Pay attention to the answer I'm about to give; it might shock you. Who said there are three? We don't have anything like that. The ancient texts say there are three. We even say, "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the

Holy Spirit, one God, Amen." We don't say three. Even in the Nicene Creed, we believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, the Almighty. We are

talking about diversity, not number. So why do we say "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" as if they are three? We're not talking about three. What does that say? Three, because this is the simplest form of plurality. We're talking about a singular plural. If it were two, or if my mind came up with two, then it would be dual. So the

simplest form of plurality is the concept of three. But I'm not talking about three, because I'm talking about an infinite diversity within the divine essence. It appears in the image of fatherhood. The Father expresses God's fatherhood to creation, the Son speaks of the relationship and love within the divine essence, and the Spirit speaks of

the nature of God as Spirit. So we're talking about a clear and explicit distinction without mixing or division. We're not talking about a number because within the divine there is infinity.
