[music] On Wednesday, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education published a statement in which it revealed the results of this evaluation, which had already been approved by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Mr. Kulasek. The Mazovian University was also evaluated in six scientific disciplines, in which it had been conducting scientific activities for the last four years

in scientific colleges established for this purpose . And ladies and gentlemen, the results of this evaluation are presented in this communication, which, as I said, lists approximately 280 entities evaluated from a total of over 1,200 scientific disciplines. The Mazovian Academy is listed in point 57 8 9 60 and our result looks as follows.

Um, these are the fields of health sciences and medical sciences, the field of social sciences and the field of family sciences. And due to the fact that the university has

six scientific categories of at least B plus in three different scientific fields, this is a statutory requirement for being a university, a full-fledged university. This is the point of the bill. Law on Higher Education. To be an academic institution or an academy, you must have one qualification. However, in order to become a university

or try to transform a university into a university, you need to have the right to award a doctorate, i.e. scientific category B plus, as I have already said, in at least six disciplines, in three different fields. And we, ladies and gentlemen, have achieved this in this evaluation. We raised this issue together when we changed the organizational form of

our school to the Mazowiecka Academy. That already sounded good, but when we were sitting in the rector's office and I said, "So, do we have it?" And the rector said: "No, no, we have to go further, because these dreams of the people of Płock are worth working for." Believe me, the professor here

said it very generally, but the Mazovian Academy, which was subjected to this evaluation in the academic community, is said to have broken the bank in terms of the level that this school presented. So I wanted to congratulate you, Mr. Rector, Mr. Professor, on such a high, vowed level. And of course, no one can achieve anything alone, and the

rector would not have achieved this either, if it weren't for his team, about whom he always speaks very warmly, very well, but I know from the people who work at this school that he is also a fair, inspiring and demanding leader. So the dreams of generations of Połońsk residents, I will repeat this once again, are

materializing today, because, as I said, we are opening the doors. We are opening the door to Płock having a University of Mazovia. All that remains for us is this final accord, which, just like with the Mazovian Academy, we also made with the rector’s approval together with all the parliamentarians from our district. And today, also

through the media, I appeal to all members of parliament from our constituency, regardless of political affiliation, just as I did with the Masovian Academy, to jointly sign the bill establishing the University of Masovia in Płock. This bill will be in my parliamentary office until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and every MP, every MP

from our district, first, and then of course we invite others, if they wish, to sign it, thus becoming a symbolic co-author of this bill as well , because I am convinced of this, just as I was convinced at the Mazovian Academy, that we can have many differences. in the Sejm. There are many things that can make us different in the

region, and there are many things that can make us different in Płock. Well, I guess such an initiative wo n't really make a difference between us. So, Mr. Rector, it would seem that the goal has been achieved, but I am addressing you more. Well, no. Mr. Rector, and this is what I wish him, to

manage this institution for at least another 10 years. Because in your hands, Mr. Rector, it changes from day to day. There are young journalists here and they don't remember how the school called PWSZ was established, which was supposed to be compensation for the lost voivodeship. When I quickly think back over these years

, our school has achieved a truly enormous civilizational leap. And I would like it to be possible in a few years, when you, Mr. Rector, will still be heading this university, and I am convinced of this, to say that the University of Mazovia in Płock is one of the leading universities in the

country, because the research results give hope and prospects for this. We would all like this university to retain young people from the Płock region not only for financial reasons, because it is easier to complete studies here if you live in Płock or nearby, but also for reasons of aspiration and the level of

teaching at this school. And I think we need to set ourselves this goal today, to reiterate once again, the University of Płock or the University of Mazovia in Płock to be one of the leading universities in the country, so that by establishing cooperation with leading academic centers not only in Poland but also in Europe, around the

world – I know that the rector has such plans – we can say that this is a truly important center. So, ladies and gentlemen, we are happy today, because if everything goes well, but here I am leaving 1% of such legislative risk for myself. If everything goes well, and the rector makes any necessary improvements, the inauguration of the

academic year could take place within the university formula, as signed by the president. So we will try to pass it quickly in the Sejm and Senate . We will also be with us, even with the inauguration by the end of October. Okay. And we will also put pressure on the presidential palace, although just as there was no

problem with President Andrzej Duda back then, there is no provision for it here either, because this law has no political value, I emphasize this once again. So maybe in October we will be at the university inauguration. There in the corner, as always, is the humble Rector of Kansa, but I also know how much work, how much

enthusiasm, and also such personal commitment of the Rector, and I would like to convey my best wishes to all the staff and students through you, Mr. Rector, and to say that I will try to have this bill passed in the Sejm in September, or by mid-October at the latest, so that we can have

our dream University of Mazovia in Płock. Thank you.
