autonomy. Um my purpose is not to argue against AI autonomy but it is to explain how autonomy can be introduced without losing any visibility, control or accountability. So we are entering the age of AI agents. AI is moving beyond answering questions and producing content. It's beginning to perform work, pursue goals, use tools,

coordinate activities. That creates a new governance problems for organization that we have to address. The risk associated with AI depends heavily on what the AI is allowed to do. An AI that answers a question may produce incorrect information. An AI that takes an action may affect a customer, some employees, a patient or

business processes. And an AI that completes a transaction may actually create a financial, legal or operational obligation on the behalf of your organization. AI is moving from answer to action and then to transaction. the possible consequences become more serious. The level of governance must therefore reflect not only the intelligence of the AI but also the authority that it's been
