always love being part of this show. >> So, a conservatorship already to my mind already means something went terribly wrong, right? I mean, it probate, okay, people don't plan, they don't sign the documents, but conservatorship is something really went wrong health-wise, didn't plan, or something's going on that requires some extraordinary legal assistance by definition, correct?

>> Right. It it it comes into play when someone loses uh their competency and they can't make decisions for themselves. And if they don't have something in place like a power of attorney, a trust, a health care directive, so that it get authorizes someone to have legal authority to make decisions for them, then you're in the

position of having to file for conservatorship, so someone can get get appointed by the court to make legal decisions for this person.
