I'm hoping that we can create really successful Roblox games for the future [Music] cheers all right let's think about this for a minute this video is going to be about lighting manipulation which allows us to change the lighting system inside of a Roblox game it determines how lighting appears in a game and how it

interacts with other objects and not only are we going to be changing some properties for this lighting system but we're also going to use scripting to change it as well and some examples of scripting that I've done here are these Street lamps whenever it becomes nighttime these Street lamps light up but when it becomes daytime the street

lamps turn off and so that's an example of using scripting to manipulate the lighting and another thing is creating a dynamic day and night Cycle System from what you can see over there we're changing the time of day through scripting to create this little transition from daytime to night time and not only that but we also have

lighting objects that completely transforms the way that a Roblox game can look and so what I'm going to do is I'm going to hit stop and show you what I'm talking about so right now inside of this Roblox game there's a lot of lighting objects but if I were to quickly get rid of all of these lighting
