Hello and welcome or welcome back to this YouTube channel. In today's video, we are talking about different ways of using a notebook. And I am using uh pocket notebooks to demonstrate in this video because that's the type of notebook I've used up the most. But uh this uh method or these ways of using a
notebook actually applies to every uh single size of notebook. But I wanted to show you some of the ways that I have been using different notebooks. So, let's move these this uh like huge stack of notebooks to the side here and let's go over the current ones I'm using. So, I created a leather cover for myself to
have uh five notebooks inside or six. Uh one, two, three, four, five. It's five. Um I had to actually think about that. But the first type of notebook I use is actually a planner where I set up my own uh spreads. So this is a really good example where I basically just set up my
own uh spreads. I draw the lines. I write in here. I write the days of the week. And this is basically the simplest way uh for me to use a notebook or to use a planner because I can do this with any uh notebook that I have. um it doesn't have to be a pre- uh dated one.
I can just take out a notebook and use it basically. So that is the first way I'm using a pocket notebook or a notebook in general. Um you could also uh do bullet journaling in um in a notebook like uh you could do your uh yearly planning, your monthly planning, your weekly planning, your notes. So you
could basically do bullet journaling which is an idea from uh Ryder Carol the author of the bullet journal method. The second way I'm using a notebook which is probably best in the pocket size is actually a capture notebook. This is basically a notebook uh where you capture ideas, task, things like that. what you would probably use your phone
