CARL LUNA POLI SCI COURSE INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone and welcome to Dr. Luna's political science class. This lecture is prepared for students in the American political development course I'm teaching, but it's about introductory materials, how I structure my courses, and they all pretty much structure the same. So if you're in my uh American political systems course or international political economy,

international relations, foreign policy, American government, it's all pretty much the same for structure. Uh any differences between that or the course you're taking and the course described in this video, uh we'll we'll discuss either in a Zoom class or in an in-person class. But for the most part, all the material applies across my

different classes. Uh now for students who are in the San Diego Community College District taking classes, if you have any issues regarding how to get onto uh the Canvas, the primary platform and get your email going, here's a page that shows you connectivity. If you're at the University of San Diego, you're going to

want to check with onetop and text services. I basically have the same format for my syllabuses across different sections. Just a moment. I want to be sure. Yeah, recording's going. Always hate it when you're doing this and the recording doesn't show up. Um, this is the syllabus for uh American political development, which is a variation on

American government and political systems and also uh ideologies. I've taught the upper division ideology class on different occasions. Uh, my name uh Carl Luna. I'm a professor of political science ammeritus. I'm retired out of Mesa College. I've been there for 37 years. Uh and I'm a uh let's go to this next slide.
