So I once had a friend who wasted years and years and years of his life and every time we talked he was doing something new. It was either a new business idea, a new niche, a new offer, a new content strategy, a new productivity system, a new workout routine that was apparently going to turn
him into Tom Hardy in 90 days and every time he was convinced that this is the one. But a few weeks later there was always another one and I think this is one of the most dangerous traps that ambitious people specifically fall into because starting something new feels like progress. You You get all the excitement of imagining what your life could look like if it works without
having to go through the boring part of actually making it work. And I see this constantly with personal brands as well. You post for two weeks and nothing happens. So you change your niche, you change your content style and then you spend three weeks designing the perfect strategy. Meanwhile the person who picked one direction and posted 200 times is getting dangerously
good. And it's not necessarily because they're smarter than you but because they just stayed in the game long enough to collect the reps. You see, you don't build authority by constantly reinventing yourself. You build authority by saying something worth hearing over and over again until the market starts associating your name with it.
So maybe you don't need another idea. Maybe you just need to give your current idea enough time to compound. Because chasing 100 ideas for a week each will make you feel busy, but building one idea for 100 weeks might actually change your life.
