This quote is simple, but it's one of my favorites. Love is not a feeling, it's a decision. I think that's so important today because we've been taught that love is like the notebook and it's just going to explode and it's going to be amazing feelings the whole time if it's the right person.

But the reality is that real love is about sacrifice. Think about the parent waking up in the middle of the night for the child that needs them. That's a decision. It doesn't feel good, but that's sacrificial love. And it's the same in our relationships. We can choose to show up for someone even when we don't feel like it.
