This is what I mean when I say we are volume eating. I lost over 60 pounds eating massive portions of food because I am a volume eater and I need a lot of food to keep me satisfied. And one of the best ways to do that is with a shit ton of vegetables.
I'm absolutely craving a broccoli cheddar soup right now, but we're going to make it healthy, vegan, weight loss style, low calorie density and massive portions. We're going to start by whacking our onions into a massive pan. And no, we're not sauteing with oil because that literally adds hundreds of unnecessary calories so we're going to go with water. Carrots and celery for flavour.
If you want to know the key to losing weight it is vegetables my friend so if you are not adding in all of the vegetables into your fridge into every single meal you're doing it wrong. You're not going to be able to eat massive portions, you're not going to be full and satisfied, you're going
to get hungry and you're going to find your face in a tub of Ben and Jerry's every single night like I did. So get those veggies in. This is all of the broccoli in my fridge and I'm going to use it all. Wow now that is what I call volume but before we add the broccoli in we're actually
going with star of the show, potatoes. Potatoes are actually one of the best foods for weight loss. They are scientifically the most satisfying food on the planet meaning they will keep you full for hours And they also super low calorie density Get those spuds in and a ton of water Don forget the veggie stock When it proper bubbly like this add in your broccoli
Lid on and let it cook. Into a blender, we're gonna put some nutritional yeast. This is gonna give us that cheesy flavor, loads. We're going in with garlic powder, smoky paprika and a little black pepper. I'm actually pulling my hair out because this broccoli is taking so long to cook. Now that our broccoli is finally cooked, that took ages.
