At 12 years old Kiki Palmer was a guest on Oprah's show and this week Oprah was a guest on hers. And kudos to Kiki because she built a table that Oprah actually wanted to sit at which is no small feat. And we tend to notice and celebrate Oprah's wisdom because that is what she's here for. That's
her craft. And your craft is typically how you honor your highest self. It's how we see God through you. But there are two things in particular that we can all learn from Oprah that don't just come naturally to her. Number one, she chooses proximity to her audience over the industry when it comes to the product that she develops. And we saw that in the decision to put the show
in Chicago. She stated that she felt it was the city that most mirrored her audience's actual reality. And when it went national, it hit number one in the bigger markets of New York and LA within four weeks. And this was an incredible genius move because your audience can feel where you are standing. A product, in Oprah's case, her show, made next to your audience lands different than
a product made for the industry approval. When you make decisions for yourself and your own craft based on the dumb data of the industry, it tends to make your product feel above your audience or very far away from them. So you've got to build your product, your craft from inside of their daily
reality their language their problems their emotions and then let the industry come and find you there And I don even think this is Oprah sharpest move It actually started with her biggest flaw which brings me to number two.
