That scene where Heath Ledger sings, Can't take my eyes off you is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. Not because it's grand or cinematic, but because it reminds me of something we have slowly stopped doing. These days people think it's cool to act nonchalant. Like, oh bro, I don't care.

It's considered cool to reply late on purpose. It's cool to pretend you don't care, to hide your excitement, and to act like you're too busy or too emotionally unavailable to show interest. And somehow that is considered attractive. I've never really understood this concept. Like if you like someone, why are you trying so hard to convince them that you don't?

If anything, I think it's much cooler to be obvious. It's much cooler to be as expressive as you can. Instead of replying late, I think it's much cooler to reply as soon as you can even if you're busy. Just to make sure the other person knows that they're special. Go on openly flirt.

Do cheesy things, even embarrass yourself. Make the person you love, feel loved. Because since when did caring become cringe? I think the confidence to openly care about someone and openly love someone is much more attractive than pretending that you don't. I'm ending this one here.
