I don't know who needs to hear this but if I could tell my younger self one thing about becoming unstoppable it would be this. Learn to detach from the outcomes. I know it's easier said than done because naturally we care about results. You work hard on something and then something goes well and
you feel great and if something doesn't work out you suddenly start questioning yourself and I've been there too and I think that's where we sometimes get it wrong. We start attaching our self-worth to the results we get. I mean, if something doesn't perform, you feel like you're bad at what you do. You don't get the opportunity you wanted and you start wondering if you're good
enough. And slowly, you start seeing results as the reflection of who you are. But it's really not. Think about the last time you worked really hard on something. Remember how you felt while you were waiting to see how it went and then remember how you felt after you found out. I mean, two completely
different people right that's the strange part sometimes you will make something you're incredibly proud of and you get nothing back from it sometimes you'll make something very average and you'll get way more than you expected and every single one of those things can mess with how you feel about yourself and if you think about it that's a really terrible way to live you're letting something that
keeps changing constantly decide how you feel about yourself so maybe the answer is to detach a little. I mean not to stop caring. Outcomes do matter. Of course they do. But they are not completely in your hands. What is in your hands is what you put in. The work, the effort and the
decisions you make. So these days I try to ask myself these three things instead. Did I do the work I said I do? Was it honest to who I actually am? Would I do it again if nobody saw it? And if the answer to those three is yes then I'm good. And if I keep failing I try to look at the pattern.
