Would you rather protect your sunflower with a pea shooter or protect your pea shooter with a sunflower? A trophy with no name on it is just a medal. A crown with no respect behind it is just a prop. A logical person would say honor doesn't win battles, but what is left to fight for if you lose your honor?
This is a thought that has been weighing my mind recently. Humans can sometimes be selfish and sometimes be selfless. But in certain cases, one outweighs the other. Are you a now person or are you for the brighter future person? Those decisions will eventually mold your legacy. Honor is a human spirit screaming for legacy, something that lasts for ages.
Yet, by the end, would you be able to say to yourself that I may have lost my life, but I have won with honor.
