They'll hold you to a higher standard because they see what you're capable of. Yes, it's uncomfortable. Yes, it hurts. And it's supposed to be that way because that discomfort is what growth feels like. The person who never challenges you doesn't want you to be better. So stop getting mad at people who refuse to let you settle for less.
