I used to be very insecure about my arms. I avoided, you know, the side pictures, the sleeveless tops, until one day I decided, let me do something about this. So I started training triceps because they actually take up two-thirds of your arm. The good news is, they don't actually need that much work because they respond so quickly. So here are three body
weight-only exercises that you can do to strengthen them. The first is a backwards tricep extension. As you extend your arms behind you, you flex your triceps at the top, and imagine that you are holding a cardboard box between your elbows the entire time. If you want a little bit more spice at the top, you can imagine you've got a ball behind your back and you have to squeeze it a
little before dropping back down. The second is a tricep press. You're going to have your hands right under your shoulders. If you bring your knees back, it's going to be a little bit harder, whereas if you put your knees right under your hips, it's going to be a little bit simpler. From here, you're going to bend your elbows back really nice and slowly until your forearm
gently taps the mat, then squeeze through your wrist to lift back up to your starting position. Finally, a tricep dip. This one has so many common mistakes that let's chat through it. You're going to have your fingers facing either edge of the room, not forward, to protect your shoulders, okay? You dig your fingernails into the mat to take some tension away from your wrists, and all
you want to do is bend your elbows back until your bum taps the mat, and then squeeze at the top so that you flex your triceps. A common mistake here is that people think their hips are involved and they aren't at all. Your hips are chilling. Do three sets of these three times a week and watch what happens.
