What is the worst part about moving to the Netherlands for you guys? Definitely the housing. That's the most important part about living anywhere, having a roof over your head. As an international student, it's rough out here. For sure. I mean, I paid like 900 euros the first time I came here because there was literally no other option.

And then, where are you guys from and what are you studying here? I'm half Greek and half American and I'm studying communications at the University of Kroningen. I finished also in communications. I came here two or three years ago. How many times did you apply for rentals when you came here the first time?

I mean, I've been moving every six months because I still haven't been able to find a permanent place. Really? Before I moved, I started looking in like March. For you? You gotta have been like 20, 30 times on Perarius for the viewers. Get Perarius Plus, otherwise you're gonna have a long, long day over here trying to find anything.

For the first six months, he didn't even live in Kroningen. Yeah, I didn't live here. Really? I lived in Droughton, which is like an hour away from a bus. Paying like $1,300 a month. What? It was tough. I mean, I can imagine. Is there like a difference in the rent that you're paying now?

Oh, for sure. I mean when I first got here I stayed at a block house and that was like 1200 bucks a month. Okay. And now I'm down to 550. And for you? First place I stayed at in Kroningen was a bit of a refugee camp. Some very questionable roommates, it was the village.

Oh the village? You more familiar? Yeah of course. Yes. I wouldn't recommend it. Makes a man out of here. And then one last thing when it comes to the people who've been just accepted, what is your number one advice for them? I would say for sure Duke Kiwi. Like it was really fun, it was a great way to ease in I think into the city.
