Humans only spend money on three things and three things only. Number one, solutions. People will pay you anything to make a problem go away. Pain, confusion, debt, weight, stress, loneliness, ignorance. If your business removes a real pain, people will pay you an absorbent amount of money for you to remove it. Here's number two, people pay for convenience.
The richest businesses on earth aren't the most innovative. They're the most convenient. The whole game is making something faster or easier. Now, here's the third one. And this is probably my favorite one. All right. Number three, experiences. People will pay an obscene amount of money to feel something they can't get anywhere else.
The more emotional the experience, the higher the price. That's the whole list, ladies and gentlemen. Those are the three things people pay for. Solutions, convenience, and experiences. So the real question isn't, is my offer good? The real question is, which of the three am I selling? And am I the best at it in my space?
