Eldest daughters just want to be around people who allow them to rest without guilt. Their entire life has been revolving around taking care of other people, managing things, putting out fires that they did not cause, and making sure every single person around them is comfortable and has what they need at all times.
That's why eldest daughters are usually so disconnected from themselves once they reach adulthood, and unless they do the inner work, it takes them a while to figure out their own identity, their own wants, their own needs, because they have been putting everyone else first and neglecting themselves in this entire process. Eldest daughters just want to rest without guilt.
If they are dating or they are in a relationship, they want to be with somebody who doesn't make them feel bad about not doing enough. Because trust me, eldest daughters are always doing the most, way more than enough. They want to be with somebody who says, let me handle that, I'll take care of that,
without even being asked to do anything. They want to be with somebody who is able to slow their life down. So here's a message to all the eldest daughters out there. Whoever you choose to have in your life, whether that's romantic, platonic, if you feel like you cannot rest around them or you feel guilty for resting around them
or not doing enough or not being productive enough, you may want to reevaluate your connection with that person.
