Day 10 of starting over my whole entire life. Hi, I'm Regan. And a year ago, my five-year relationship ended badly. But today, for the first time since the breakup, I walked my Cornelia street. And I kind of thought it would kill me that standing in the same place as I stood with him would bring back more memories than I could handle. But I saw visions of us on every corner,

and the versions of me that were in them felt so distant. I almost forgot she was real. Because for every memory I saw of the life I left behind, I now see the person I get to be because I did. Because I didn't think I could stand in this city without feeling the pain of what I lost.

But I don't think I'm still the version of me who lost it. Because all I feel now is that I love this place for a reason, but that I left this place for a reason. That I've outgrown it somehow. And I really love that, honestly. So here's to the people we were, and to how far we've come.
