Day 7 of starting over my whole entire life. Hi, I'm Regan. And a year ago, my 5-year relationship ended badly. Like, really badly. And that can feel a little extra sad today. Because tomorrow's my birthday. And ever since my relationship ended, I've kind of hated my birthday. Because all of a sudden, it turned into this massive reminder of what I don't have.

Of the life I thought I'd be living, but I'm not. But if I'm being honest, the worst birthdays I've ever had. like truly awful birthdays were the ones I spent in a relationship I wasn't supposed to be in and I refuse to have one more awful birthday because of some boy who honestly kind of sucks

so tonight I'm baking a birthday cake alone it's kind of cute right and choosing to let go a little more of some boy who doesn't know what he wants so here's to being happy all on our own let's choose ourselves shall we
