Day six of starting over my whole entire life. Hi, I'm Regan. And a year ago, my five-year relationship ended badly. Like, really badly. And since then, I've spent most of my time either crying or rotting. But last night... I did something stupid. I downloaded the dating apps for the first time in my hometown.

Oh, God. And... I talked to a man. Till like 3 a.m. He was nice and sweet and I fell asleep thinking I could do this. So why did I wake up feeling like I can't breathe? I heard my ex was moving on. And if he can move on, then I can move on.

Because I don't want to be where he left me while he's out with someone new. But maybe finding someone new just because he is isn't the answer. Maybe you're pretending to care less than he does. It won't stop this from hurting. And maybe it's okay if I just let it for a little while.

Because one day when I do find someone new, it'll have nothing to do with him so here's to moving on when we're ready not just when they are let's take our time, shall we?
