Day two of starting over my whole entire life. Hi, I'm Regan. And a year ago, I lost my city, my apartment, and all my friends when my five-year relationship ended badly. Like, so badly. And when I moved back home at 27, I packed up all my memories from my old life and my old relationship into this box.

All the old letters and the birthday cards and the key to our first apartment. I kept all the reminders of the life I wasn't ready to let go of. and I let them sit in the back of my closet in the back of my mind, taking up space. Space? I think I want back now.

Because there's a part of me that still hurts when I look through it, that so badly wants to return to a life that's no longer mine. But there's a bigger part of me, thank God, that knows it's time to make room. Room for all the new people and the new memories that come with new chapters.

So here's to letting go. Let's step forward, shall we?
