This is what running 7k in Hyde Park with a bunch of strangers looks like. After taking the bus and multiple tubes like peasants into central London, we finally arrived at Hyde Park, where we were greeted by a mob of rappers. I mean, runners. Like most vigorous activities, the run started off slow. Of course, this gave ample opportunity to admire the charms of British scenery.

My personal favourite was navigating the obstacle course of horseshit. Eventually, though, I soon grew tired of the leisurely pace and overtook the boys. Sometimes if you want it hard and fast, you've got to do it yourself. Of course, I was the first girl to finish. When it comes to satisfaction, I don't believe in coming second.

On a serious note though, the camaraderie was top notch and the turnout was pretty impressive. Ladies, if you're in London, forget dating apps. Simply join a running club and you'll be inundated with upper middle class quinoa eating bachelors that wear luxury running gear like it's a fashion statement. After an exhausting morning of small talk, we definitely earned a brunch.
